Due to the mass amounts of unsustainable, human-generated waste entering our environment, the detrimental effects of pollution have continued to negatively impact numerous ecosystems around the world. Different types of waste, such as microplastics, are continuously polluting our oceans and landfills due to the lack of biodegradable and recyclable materials with these pollutants.
“It Starts with You” is an advocacy of mine that will focus primarily on educating households on the proper ways of handling different household wastes and garbage. A simple but impactful advocacy that will surely create a bigger impact not just on our society but on our environment on a major scale. Its objective is to educate and teach us the proper ways and means of how we should dispose of and handle our waste and garbage just like what the pictures below illustrate. Simple yet sometimes we tend to forget the importance of the proper ways to make our environment safe and clean.
Ladies and Gentlemen in the realm of open-mindedness and empathy, my advocacy amplifies my ability to stand, to advocate change, and to protect our environment. This is the perfect time to act now and make things right to give the next generation a safe and clean space to live in. With all of the problems our environment is currently facing we should act and start changing our ways, let's start re-calibrating our minds and redirecting our steps and ourselves.
It is all about shouldering the responsibility, for us to have that sense of responsibility to help protect our biodiversity because everything is possible and feasible for us to Prosper while we take care of the environment and as a global community this micro effort that starts within ourselves will have a macro effect to help save our home, our planet. And by taking these small steps in ensuring the future generation for a clean and productive environment my goal and vision will foster not immediately but definitely!
