Today, June 24, 2025, the 20th City Council of Davao held a Farewell Session to honor all its outgoing members, with plaques of distinction and appreciation given for their years of service.

Councilor Atty. Jesus Joseph P. Zozobrado III, who served for three (3) consecutive terms (9 years), was among those recognized.

In his speech, he shared that even though he’s stepping down, he is not stepping away. He will continue to speak up, ask questions, and help out however he can especially for women, children, senior citizens, and those from marginalized communities.

Held today, June 24, 2025, the 20th City Council of Davao City conducted its 24th and final Regular Session.

During the session, several legislative measures were approved under the Committee on Rules, Privilege, Laws, and Ordinances, chaired by Councilor Jesus Joseph “Cocoy” P. Zozobrado III, Majority Floor Leader and 3rd District Councilor.

Letter from Water Lily Village Cooperative on the Multipurpose Hall of Barangay Wilfredo Aquino, which was constructed on the cooperative’s property.

Barangay Resolution No. 009-25 (Brgy. Buhangin Proper) – Rescheduling the 2025 Araw ng Barangay from May 12 to April 30.

Barangay Ordinance No. 02, S. 2025 (Brgy. Magtuod) – Promoting responsible pet ownership and managing stray dogs in line with the Anti-Rabies Act (RA 9482).

Barangay Ordinance No. 002, S. 2024 (Brgy. Sta. Ana 27-C) – Amending the 2006 ordinance on local taxes and fees.

Barangay Tax Ordinance No. 01, S. 2025 (Brgy. Mandug) – Implementing business-related fees and charges.

Barangay Ordinance No. 10-001, S. 2025 (Brgy. Pampanga) – Levying local taxes and fees, and setting penalties for non-compliance.
