Day 2 of Project Edu-Aksyon 2026 saw an even greater wave of support and participation from the community as parents, students, and guardians continued to visit the SK Office to avail of the program's educational assistance.

From 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a remarkable total of 846 parents, students, and guardians were successfully accommodated, more than doubling the number served on the first day. This overwhelming turnout reflects the community's trust in the program and reinforces our commitment to supporting learners as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

To avail of the program, simply follow these three easy steps:

2️⃣ Proceed to the SK Office and present proof of enrollment
3️⃣ Receive your Claim Stub

With the first day of Brigada Eskwela officially underway, parents and students also flocked to the SK Office to avail of Project Edu-Aksyon 2026. Due to the overwhelming turnout, we successfully accommodated a total of 415 parents and students today.

Tomorrow, the program will be open for a full day, and all available slots will be opened for qualified beneficiaries.

To avail of the program, simply follow these three easy steps:

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 | 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Sangguniang Kabataan - Barangay Ma-a actively participated in the Regional Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off 2026 held today at Ma-a Central Elementary School, the host venue of this year's regional launch. The activity brought together education stakeholders, local leaders, youth volunteers, and community members in support of creating a safe and conducive learning environment for students. During the program, Punong Barangay Pacito D. Cañete Jr. delivered an inspiring message encouraging continued community involvement in supporting education.

In support of this initiative, the council donated cleaning materials, including silhig lanot, silhig tukog, dustpans, guna, and lagaraw. Together with SK officials, KK volunteers, and community partners, clean-up activities were also conducted at Escoda Elementary School and Maa National High School.

Through unity, volunteerism, and bayanihan, we continue to show that education is a shared responsibility and that every contribution helps build a brighter future for our learners.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗨-𝗔𝗞𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘:

Due to the overwhelming number of residents expressing interest in availing of Project EduAksyon, we would like to inform everyone that special arrangements have been made for our Grade School beneficiaries.

Ma-a Central Elementary School serves as the host venue for the Regional Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off 2026, we will be implementing a limited slot allocation for Grade School students for TODAY only to ensure that Ma-a Central Elementary School learners are given a fair opportunity to avail of the program, as regular enrollment activities are currently affected by the hosting of the regional event.

• Grade 1–3: 50 slots only
• Grade 4–6: 75 slots only

Meanwhile, the 1,500 allocated slots for Grades 8–10 remain open and will continue to be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We encourage interested beneficiaries especially parents to proceed early and prepare the necessary requirements.

In line with the observance of Brigada Eskwela and the opening of the Academic Year 2026–2027, the Kabataan - Barangay Ma-a proudly brings back the Balik-Eskwela Program, Project Edu-Aksyon in its third year.

Anchored on SK Ma-a’s commitment to supporting education and promoting accessible opportunities for students, this initiative aims to encourage and provide support to families and young learners through the distribution of free school supplies, white t-shirt uniforms, and tumblers to officially enrolled & qualified students.

This program is open to all qualified residents of Barangay Ma-a and to all students enrolled in Ma-a public schools for the incoming academic year.

With the postponed schedule now officially settled, the Sangguniang Kabataan - Brgy. Ma-a together with the Barangay Council & Land Transportation Office Region XI is pleased to announce the rescheduled implementation of the LTO – Student Permit Financial Assistance Program on 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗬), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Escoda Covered Court, Ma-a, Davao City.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected postponement of the previous schedule and greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We now look forward to assisting the public, especially the qualified beneficiaries, as we continue promoting road safety awareness and greater access to opportunities through this program.

Releasing of Claim Stubs for the beneficiaries will strictly be accommodated only from 8AM-11AM. Beneficiaries are encouraged to observe timeliness and arrive within the designated schedule to avoid inconvenience.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥: Failure to claim the designated stub within the scheduled releasing period and/or failure to present a physical copy of the submitted valid government ID may result in forfeiture of the slot. In such cases, the organizers reserve the right to allocate the vacant slot to applicants from the official waitlist to ensure proper accommodation and efficient program implementation.

Please be informed that the scheduled LTO Caravan tomorrow is hereby postponed until further notice, pursuant to the recent advisory and guidance from the concerned Land Transportation Office Region XI’s offices regarding the conduct and coordination of outreach-related activities.

In line with this, we fully support and respect the proper procedures and directives set by the agency to ensure an orderly, authorized, and smooth implementation of the activity for all participants.

Further, we would like to assure everyone that the 70 beneficiaries selected for the Student’s Permit Financial Assistance Program shall remain valid and effective. The slots secured for the qualified beneficiaries will still be honored upon the announcement of the rescheduled activity.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding and patience. Further announcements regarding the rescheduled date will be posted once finalized.

In line with the observance of Road Safety Week together with the Barangay Council & Land Transportation Office Region XI the Sangguniang Kabataan - Brgy. Ma-a proudly announces the 70 qualified beneficiaries for the LTO – Student Permit Financial Assistance Program.

Priority were given to low-income youth, working students, and out-of-school youth seeking employment opportunities related but not limited to delivery riders, service crew, warehouse staff, drivers, field personnel, online sellers with delivery work, and other jobs requiring valid government-issued driving credentials. Through this initiative, SK Ma-a continues to support the youth toward safer roads, responsible driving, and greater access to employment opportunities.

While the caravan will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM May 23, 2026, the RELEASING OF STUBS for the beneficiaries will strictly be accommodated only from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NOON. Beneficiaries are encouraged to observe timeliness and arrive within the designated schedule to avoid inconvenience.
