Alinsunod sa Presidential Proclamation No. 63 s. 1992, ang buwan ng Oktubre ay ideneklara bilang Local Government Month, habang ang ikalawang linggo ng Oktubre ay Local Government Week, at ang ika-10 ng Oktubre bilang Local Government Day.

Gipakita sa mga Local Government Operations Officers (LGOOs) sa Davao Oriental ang ilang mga obserbasyon ug updates atol sa courtesy call ngadto sa probinsyal nga panggamhanan niadtong Setiyembre 7 sa Tourism Mansion.

Gipangunahan ni DILG Provincial Director Orle A. Cabaobao ang grupo sa mga LGOOs gikan sa nagkalain-laing munisipyo sa probinsya nga miabot aron ipresentar ang ilang mga nakat-unan, obserbasyon, ug mga rekomendasyon human sa ilang mga pagbisita ug pagtan-aw sa mga pamaagi sa nagkalain-laing lokal nga pangagamhanan.

Human sa ilang pag-obserbar sa mga munisipyo, ilang gipaambit ang ilang mga insights karon ngadto sa lebel sa probinsya isip kabahin sa pagpalapad sa ilang pagsabot sa mga proseso, programa, ug mga inisyatiba sa lokal nga pagdumala.

โ€œMalipayon kaayo mi nga kami ang nag-host niini [meeting] karon, ug lauman nga padayon ang among aktibong suporta sa unsang lakang nga angay buhaton aron masustinar ang kinatibok-ang kahapsay ug kalamboan sa atong rehiyonโ€, dugang ni Gov Mabanglo.
