Matud ni Aysée A. Romanda, Administrative Officer sa PSSO, nga adunay 24/7 emergency hotline 911 ug aktibo nga emergency response systems nga mahimong duolon sa bisan unsang insidente sa tibuok duration sa kalihokan.

Gipahimangnoan usab ang publiko nga magmatngon ug kanunay nga mosunod sa gi-implementa nga safety protocols aron malikayan ang disgrasya ug kalibog sa dagkong pagtapok sa katawhan.

Gipadayag usab nga hugot nga ipatuman ang security protocols sa tanang venues, lakip ang crowd control measures, monitoring, ug koordinasyon sa lain-laing law enforcement agencies aron masiguro ang hapsay ug malinawon nga mga kalihokan.

On May 27, 2026, the Safety and Security Cluster under the supervision of the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) was deployed during the Eid’l Adha Congregational Prayer held along Roxas Avenue, attended by approximately 10,000 participants.

The deployment aimed to ensure the safety, security, and orderly conduct of the religious gathering through heightened security visibility and coordination among concerned agencies and personnel.

The event concluded peacefully with no untoward incidents reported.

On May 27, 2026, the Safety and Security Cluster under the supervision of the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) was deployed during the Shariah Bar Examination held at Ateneo de Davao University, Bangkal Campus.

A total of one hundred forty-three (143) security personnel were deployed to ensure the safety, security, and orderly conduct of the examination.

The event concluded at around 6:30 PM and ended peacefully with no untoward incidents reported.

On May 20, 2026, the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) facilitated a Safety and Security Coordination Meeting in preparation for the upcoming Duaw Davao 2026 at the PSSO Conference Room.

The meeting was attended by members of the Safety and Security Cluster together with representatives from the City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO). The CTOO presided over the discussion and presented the lineup of activities, including the floor plans and layouts of the event areas, as well as the designated parade routes. The Event Organizers of Official Duaw Davao Events likewise presented the same plans and requested the augmentation of medical personnel and heightened security visibility during the conduct of the activities.

Further discussed during the meeting were reminders from Task Force Davao regarding the observance of the culture of security, the strict implementation of frisking procedures, and the installation of posters containing the do’s and don’ts at the entrances of every event venue to ensure public safety and order throughout the celebration.

On May 18, 2026, the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) facilitated a Security Awareness and Review of Security Protocols held at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Function Rooms for all security personnel assigned to the City Hall and Sangguniang Panlungsod Building.

A total of seventy-four (74) security personnel from the City Hall and Sangguniang Panlungsod buildings participated in the said activity.

The activity aimed to enhance security awareness, reinforce compliance with existing security protocols, and strengthen the preparedness and professionalism of security personnel in maintaining the safety and security of government personnel, visitors, and facilities.
