Another pride of Davao City’s 911 is its elite Urban Search and Rescue Unit Trained by the Army’s Special Forces and the Philippine Airforce, this search and rescue unit is equipped with high-tech and cutting edge rescue tools and equipments for various cases like road accident extrications, high-angle operations, swift-water rescues, open sea and deep water rescues, confined space operations, and even animal control cases.

Davao City Central 911’s ECAPD Unit received a search and rescue call today, September 7, 2022, at precisely 5:26 PM.
According to the report, a pick-up truck collided with a tricycle in Tamugan Bridge with an estimated 13 patients involved.
Central 911 operatives are dispatched to the scene.

Lipadas river along Brgy. Crossing Bayabas river channels is now on Code Orange(Warning Level) and increasing.
The rest of the river channels are monitored within Safe Levels.

CDRRMO-OPCEN triggered the Citywide Sirens that are located in Barangay Marapangi and Barangay Sirawan, the community living near the river channels are advised to evacuate through the Public Address.
ALL RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG THE LIPADAS RIVER CHANNEL MUST CONDUCT PRE-EMPTIVE EVACUATION RIGHT AWAY, and proceed to the designated Evacuation Area.
