#πππππ¨π«πππ©πππππ¬ | The Bureau of Customs β Port of Davao conducted its regular Monthly Coordination Meeting with the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) Davao Chapter to discuss key operational and policy concerns affecting customs
processes and stakeholder transactions.
The meeting, presided by Deputy Collector for Assessment Mark Ian C. QuiΓ±ones, served as a platform to discuss the three-year accreditation of customs brokers, export air freight concerns and other assessment-related matters. The discussions provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange insights and identify measures aimed at improving trade facilitation and service delivery.
Guided by Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno and under the leadership of District Collector Maita S. Acevedo, the Port of Davao remains committed in fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders through continuous dialogue and collaborative problem-solving in support of efficient customs operations.

#πππππ¨π«πππ©πππππ¬ | The Bureau of Customs β Port of Davao conducted a meeting with representatives from BASF Philippines Inc. and Royal Cargo β Davao to clarify prevailing importation procedures.
The meeting centered on understanding the step-by-step import processing workflow, including documentary requirements, examination protocols and releasing procedures. Concerns raised by the stakeholders were addressed during the discussion to ensure a common and accurate interpretation of existing guidelines.
Under the guidance of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno and the leadership of District Collector Maita S. Acevedo, the Port remains committed in promoting transparency, enhancing stakeholder engagement and ensuring the efficient and lawful processing of importations.

| The Bureau of Customs β Port of Davao, through a virtual meeting via Zoom, convened representatives from the Bureau of Plant Industry β Plant Quarantine Service (BPI-PQS), Department of Agriculture Inspectorate, Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) to discuss matters relating to the conduct of Second Border Examination for regulated agricultural shipments.
The discussion focused on strengthening inter-agency coordination, streamlining inspection procedures and clarifying the roles and responsibilities of concerned agencies in ensuring the efficient and proper examination of imported goods while maintaining compliance with existing laws, rules and regulations.
Guided by Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno and under the leadership of District Collector Maita S. Acevedo, the Port of Davao continues to foster strong collaboration with partner government agencies in support of secure and efficient trade facilitation.

| In celebration of Motherβs Day, the Bureau of Customs β Collection District XII conducted a friendly pickleball competition entitled βMoms in Motion: A Motherβs Day Pickleball Celebrationβ on 09 May 2026.
The activity gathered BOC personnel, the majority of whom are mothers, in a fun and engaging sporting event aimed at promoting camaraderie, wellness, and work-life balance among employees.
District Collector Maita S. Acevedo emphasized that the activity served as an engaging activity for mothers while supporting the Officeβs Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives that promote women empowerment and employee well-being.

| The Bureau of Customs β Collection District XII celebrated Motherβs Day in recognition of the invaluable contributions to public service of all mothers in the Port.
