Sustaining the Flame: Celebrating 52 Years of Empowered Youth!

The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Davao City Federation recently celebrated its 52nd founding Anniversary at Rizal Park, Davao City, with a theme : โ€œSustaining the Flame: Institutionalizing Empowered Leadership, Strengthening Governance and Advancing Development Pathways for a Future-Ready PYAP.โ€

PYAP Chapter Tamayong was honored to represent the PYAP Calinan District Federation in the Modern Dance Competition! Despite we werenโ€™t able to take home the championship title, the experience, fun memories, and new friendship gained are already an achievements for us, as it contributes to our development as a an individual and as a team. We would also like to extend our warm congratulations to our fellow Calinan District Chapters: PYAP Chapter Sirib, for brilliantly representing our district in the Poster-Making Competition. To PYAP Chapter Lampianao, for taking 1st Place as the โ€œMost Functional PYAP Chapter in Davao Cityโ€.

A special thanks to the Sangguniang Kabataan and Council of Barangay Tamayong for lending us their helping hands. Our deepest gratitude also to Sir Jaylord Pasana, Sir Nelson Tan Ang, and Maโ€™am Rani Bi Tesoro Estrera for their guidance, support, and for being with us throughout the entire event. While this year's result places us as the ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž, our hearts remain full of pride because true victory is not measured solely by a trophy, but by the lives we touch, the service we render, and the legacy we continue to build. We may not have taken home the top title this year, but we remain winnersโ€”because our passion to serve and empower the youth has never wavered.
