And we hope. Together with our Badjao community partners. For a better future. We journey. Has been for many years. And we keep on. Undeterred by challenges and failures. We hope. Together! (Isaiah 40:31)
Together with our BLAST ALS learners, we took on baby steps towards economic upliftment through organizing a self-help group/cooperative. We thank the help of Ptr. Cito Cinco, entrepreneur/farmer/owner of Joniel's Cakes and Pastries as among our business mentors. We thank the assistance of the Davao City Cooperative Office for giving an orientation on "Organizing a Primary Cooperative" and pledging their technical assistance as we learn the process. We also recognize and appreciate the groundwork of social work students from Assumption College of Davao.
We pray for the Lord's favor as we journey on. 🙏

IT IS FINALLY OFFICIAL! 🎉🤩🙏
Last October 17, 2025, FCCDI signed a memorandum of agreement and launched its partnership with Ani Philippines, a joint commitment to co-implement and fund FCCDI's LEAD Project beginning academic year 2026-2027.
The signing ceremony was co-led by Ms. Charlyn Gambe, FCCDI Executive Director, and Mr. Jess Arman Clavano, Ani Philippines Director.
The warmth of the afternoon was made even more meaningful by the words of inspiration shared by Mr. Steve Komanapali, Sacred Harvest Foundation Executive Director. His message encouraged everyone to glorify God, work diligently, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others and their communities.
The testimonials of the Ata and Badjao tribal LEAD Scholars, along with the heartfelt messages from their parents, were truly moving—expressing deep gratitude and a genuine appreciation for this much-needed partnership.
Indeed, this partnership stands as an answer to FCCDI’s years of prayers. What a beautiful afternoon it was to witness this long-awaited vision finally coming to life!
The journey has just begun, and we move forward with faith, hope, and enthusiasm. To God be all the glory! 🙏

FCCDI congratulates the six new students for their successful admission into its LEAD Project for the school year 2026–2027!
FCCDI's LEAD Project is a college scholarship and discipleship project that seeks to develop young, Christlike leaders who will make a meaningful difference in the lives of others—both locally and globally.
This year’s batch is composed of six students from the Badjao and Ata tribes, currently in their pre-onboarding stage as they prepare for the new academic year. We are beyond grateful for our partnership with Ani Philippines who will co-impmement and fund this project with FCCDI.
FCCDI has also officially signed the Tripartite Partnership Agreement with the LEAD Scholars and their parents. Together, all parties commit to walk hand in hand in building a supportive community, breaking barriers, and making a lasting impact.
The LEAD Scholars lead the Jesus-way! 🙏
