📣 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Missing Fishermen in Manay, Davao Oriental

Six fishermen onboard motor banca “LEIZL” were reported missing on 20 February 2026 in the waters off Manay, Davao Oriental. Mariners and nearby fisherfolk are urged to stay alert and immediately report any sightings to the nearest Coast Guard Station or call 0966-837-0536.

📣 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Please be informed that the DA-BFAR Regional Office XI in Davao City, including its City and Provincial Fisheries Offices and Stations, will be closed on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in observance of the Chinese New Year, which has been declared a nationwide special (non-working) day.

Regular operations will resume on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

The BFAR Administrative Circular No. 001, series of 2025 — Guidelines on the Culture of Australian Redclaw Crayfish (𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘹 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘴) in the Philippines officially takes effect today, December 5, 2025.
