19th Batch CLDP-SUCA moves forward for Marilog beneficiaries!

The City Cooperative Development Office – Cooperative Livelihood & Training Center (CCDO–CLTC) successfully facilitated the Pre-Loan Release Seminar for the 19th Batch of the Cooperative Livelihood Development Program – Start-Up Capital Assistance (CLDP-SUCA) at the Magnegosyo ‘Ta Day Conference Room.

This milestone gathered 8 beneficiaries from Marilog District who have chosen Basic Swine Production as their featured livelihood venture. Swine production continues to stand as one of the most vital and high-demand livelihood projects under our CLDP-SUCA program.

The pre-release seminar serves as a crucial orientation step, walking our beneficiaries through proper fund allocation, responsible repayment management, and micro-enterprise practices to guarantee high animal productivity and sustainable business growth.

By pairing start-up capital assistance with structured technical guidance, our office ensures that our local agri-entrepreneurs are fully capacitated to thrive as active partners in driving Davao City's progress and development.

LDP Skills Training #3 | Basic Homecare Products Preparation at Bunawan District in partnership with Office of Konse - Al Ryan Alejandre - Official!

Still on our catching-up roll, and this session deserves all the spotlight! Last August 20, 2026, Thursday, the CLTC team headed to Brgy. Tibungco, Bunawan District, Davao City for an energetic run of our Basic Homecare Products Preparation Skills Training!

A turnout of 42 participants joined us, all proud members of the Barangay Council for Women-Tibungco, D. C. representing various local chapters across the area.

Because many of these women leaders already had background knowledge in making homecare products, this session served as the skill-refresher and enterprise level-up!

The venue was buzzing with enthusiasm as attendees brought forward practical questions left over from previous experiences, actively troubleshooting formulations, refining their mixing techniques, and diving deeper into product consistency and packaging.

Our team openly shared trusted material supplier networks and cost-effective sourcing tips. Giving them a tangible boost, our trainees were also equipped with complete homecare product start-up kits generously sponsored by Silangan Multipurpose Cooperative!

A huge salute to the Tibungco Barangay Council for Women for your relentless drive to learn and lead, and heartfelt gratitude to Silangan Multipurpose Cooperative for championing livelihood.

Another page in the Barangay Nutrition Scholar diary!

We’re still on our little catching-up streak here on your feed, and this heartwarming memory is one we simply could not skip.

Our Magnegosyo ‘Ta Day Conference Room burst into a sea of colors as 31 dedicated Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) gathered for an exclusive session of our fan-favorite Fuzzy Wire Flower Making Skills Training.

It was a special day of creativity and learning, marking another wonderful entry into their BNS diaries, and our CLTC team was more than proud to sign off on their pages to document every twist, loop, and blossom created.

What made this session truly inspiring was the passion behind their eager participation: these dedicated frontliners learned this craft with the heartfelt mission of cascading the skill directly down to the mothers, families, and grassroots communities they serve every single day.

A round of applause to our 31 Barangay Nutrition Scholars! Thank you for your endless dedication to uplifting community wellness and livelihood. May your new crafting skills bloom in every barangay you touch!

CATCHING UP | Basic Homecare Product Preparation at Brgy. Alfonso Angliongto Sr.

First off, yes. It’s been a little quiet here since September 15, but only because our CCDO–CLTC team has been having a busy streak of training programs across the city and the Cooperative Month preparation for this year. We’re finally catching up on our posts, and what better way to jump back in than with this fun throwback?

Last August 15, 2026, Saturday, we brought our Basic Homecare Product Preparation (Powder Detergent Making) straight to Brgy. Alfonso Angliongto Sr., Buhangin District, Davao City!

A total of 35 participants joined us for a hands-on learning. The session brought together the passionate officers and members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) SK Barangay Angliongto Sr. alongside our active members from the Brgy. Alfonso Angliongto Senior Citizens Association.

Our KK members brought such an infectious energy to the training that a few of them even jumped into a quick, fun TikTok video to showcase their freshly scooped and packaged powder detergents.

INVITATIONAL | August 13, 2026 Basic Bread and Pastry Making at DCTRCDD!

Our team visited the DCTRCDD in Brgy. Bago-Oshiro for our Basic Bread and Pastry Making Training last August 13, 2026, Thursday.

Through CLTC’s invitational training, our office partners directly with local institutions, community facilities, and organized groups bringing specialized livelihood workshops on-site to cater to specific communities where empowerment is needed most.

We were once again honored to have the incredible Chef Ralph Gio Ardina Gerapusco to guide our trainees through every step of the baking process.

More than just a cooking class, the day served as a reminder of the power of supportive rehabilitation. When we equip individuals on their healing journey with livelihood skills, we help restore confidence, foster self-worth, and open up hopeful paths toward sustainable self-reliance and community reintegration.

A sincere thank you to Chef Ralph Gio Ardina Gerapusco for generously dedicating his time and talents, and to the administration and staff of DCTRCDD for welcoming us and championing recovery for our brothers and sisters.

To every participant who stepped into the kitchen: continue moving forward with courage toward a brighter, fulfilling tomorrow.

LDP Skills Training 2026 "EP. 2" at Barangay Panacan!

Our team and team of Konse - Al Ryan Alejandre - Official headed to Brgy. Panacan, Bunawan District, Davao City for another session of our Basic Candle Making training.

It was nice to see so many local community sectors actively coming together, with active participants from the Davao City Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the Panacan Barangay Council for Women, the Barangay Panacan Solo Parents Federation, the Muslim Livelihood Association, and the Barangay Development Council - Panacan.

Our participants were also gifted starter candle making kits generously provided by Panabo Co-op/Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative, giving each aspiring entrepreneur a direct boost to explore their very own candle business ventures.

Congratulations to all of our participants from Barangay Panacan for taking up the challenge to learn and grow your livelihood skills!

First LDP Skills Training this 2026: A fresh, fragrant start at Brgy. Sasa, Davao City!

We officially rolled out our very first Livelihood Development Program (LDP) Skills Training for 2026 last August 6 in meaningful partnership with the Office of Konse - Al Ryan Alejandre - Official.

It was a vibrant gathering of diverse community sectors, warmly welcoming members from the Sasa Barangay Council for Women, the Barangay Sasa PWD Federation, the Barangay Sasa Solo Parents Federation, and dedicated Barangay Sasa Functionaries.

Making the day even more exciting, participants went home equipped with complete perfume kits generously provided by King Multipurpose Cooperative, giving each trainee the exact supplies needed to immediately kickstart their own home-based perfume ventures.

To all our inspiring participants from Barangay Sasa, congratulations on taking this bold first step toward enterprise success!

The LDP Skills Training 2026 Series is underway!

The City Cooperative Development Office – Cooperative Livelihood & Training Center (CCDO-CLTC) is proud to be the official training provider for this capability-building initiative, organized in close partnership with the Office of Councilor Al Ryan S. Alejandre! We are bringing practical, sustainable livelihood programs straight to the 2nd District - Davao communities.

🧵 MTD Workshop on Basic Rug Making

Our participants took the ultimate rug-making challenge and proved they wouldn't quit!

We hosted our very first-ever Basic Rug Making Workshop at the MTDLTC building last August 3, 2026.

Making cozy, handcrafted rugs sounds simple, but our eager attendees learned that crafting them is a true test of patience and precision. It was a tricky experience from start to finish, because if you miss even a single hook or loop along the way, you have to carefully pull it apart and repeat the process all over again.

Despite the frustrating little slip-ups, our participants embraced the challenge with a lot of laughter and encouragement. Watching everyone figure out the hooking, locking, and weaving together soft strands of fabric into a durable, beautiful mat was nothing short of rewarding.

A massive congratulations to all of our workshop attendees for sticking with it, mastering the technique, and adding an entirely new textile craft to their expanding skill sets!
