𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐌𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄

On or about 1045h 28 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to an emergency call regarding a collision involving a truck and a motorcycle, which resulted in two patients.

Upon arrival, the DCFD-EMS duty personnel immediately catered, assessed and initiated first aid intervention. Both patient were transported to SPMC for further medical care.

Learning Standard First Aid in the workplace matters because it saves lives, reduces the severity of injuries, ensures compliance with safety laws, and builds a culture of preparedness and confidence among employees. It’s not just about responding to emergencies, it’s about preventing accidents from escalating and fostering a safer, more resilient work environment.

On or about 1701H 24 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a fire call incident at Matina Pangi, Davao City, providing immediate emergency medical assistance to one affected patient on scene (trauma-burn).

Through coordinated response and swift action, the patient was assessed, managed and transported to SPMC for further medical intervention.

On or about 1630H 24 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to an emergency call of a 7-year old male patient at Magsaysay Park, Davao City.

Upon arrival, the DCFD-EMS duty personnel immediately initiated first aid intervention. Patient was later on transported to Medical Mission Group Hospital (MMHG) for further medical care.

On or about 1900H 23 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅/𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI, and the dedicated supervision of 𝐅/𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, together with the DCFD-SRF headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐄𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐂 𝐁𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐎 and Calinan Fire Station personnel headed by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐍 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬, the DCFD-EMS led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a rescue emergency call at Sitio Pagan Grande, Tamugan, Marilog District, Davao City.

𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞!

Under the leadership of 𝐅/𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI, and the dedicated supervision of 𝐅/𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS team headed by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨 proudly carried out a Basic Life Support (BLS) Updating activity.

The event was formally opened by our District Fire Marshal, 𝐅/𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, who emphasized the importance of continuous training and preparedness in saving lives. His words inspired participants to approach the day with focus and dedication.

In the afternoon session, 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐨 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐃 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐄𝐓) shared effective ways and techniques to strengthen learning and skill ex*****on. His session encouraged participants to not only master lifesaving skills but also to embrace practical methods of training and improvement as dedicated public servants.

With the unwavering support of the City Government of Davao, this program became more than just a refresher course. It was a collective effort to strengthen our city’s resilience. BFP-DCFD participants from different fire stations and DCFD-EMS personnel refreshed their lifesaving skills, strengthened their confidence, and renewed their readiness to respond in moments when every second matters.

The event was meaningfully closed by 𝐅/𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄 𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐒, Chief Public Information Unit - Davao City Fire District ,who highlighted the value of craft mastery, professionalism, and dedication to serve the community. Her closing remarks reminded everyone that the true measure of preparedness is not only in knowledge but in the heart to serve.

To our brave men and women of the fire service and EMS: thank you for your dedication, your sacrifice, and your heart for the community. Together, we build a safer, stronger, and more resilient Davao City.

On or about 1540H 14May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to an emergency call of a 35 year old-BFP male personnel who sustained an injury during fire call response.

Upon arrival, the DCFD-EMS duty personnel immediately assessed , catered and initiated first aid treatment. Patient was later on transported to Tibungco Doctors for further medical intervention.

If not for his safety boots, this personnel could have lost his foot.

PPE is not just an additional weight on your body ,it is your protection, your shield, and sometimes, the reason you make it home safely.

On or about 1917H 13 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a fire incident at Saturn St., GSIS Matina, Davao City, providing immediate emergency medical assistance to two affected patient on scene (1 trauma-burn and 1 medical).

Through coordinated response and swift action, both patient were assessed, given first aid treatment and managed. Both patient were advised to visit a physician for further medical intervention.

On or about 2030H 08 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a 4th alarm-fire incident at Purok 4, Brgy. 23, Boulevard, Davao City, providing immediate emergency medical assistance to two affected patient on scene (1 trauma-burn and 1 medical).

Through coordinated response and swift action, both patient were assessed, managed and transported to SPMC for further medical intervention.

On or about 1559H 06 May 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a 2nd alarm-fire call at Rose St., Ecoland, Davao City.

At a fire scene, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are more than just “standing by”, they are an integral part of the operation, ensuring both civilian and firefighter safety.
