Cecilia Lopez is the Day Care teacher of Sirawan Crossing Day Care Center for 28 years now.
Since face-to-face classes are still not allowed, teacher Cecilia currently teaches her students using activity sheets, modules, and through online platform.
She expressed how difficult it is to coordinate with some parents who are not equipped to teach their children from home. However, she continues to guide them to ensure the continued learning of her students amidst the pandemic.
Teacher Cecilia proudly shared that she was also recognized as the Best Day Care Worker in Davao City last July 2021. She emphasized that the biggest factor contributing to this is her great love for children. For the past 28 years, she never thought of quitting her job as she really enjoys teaching kids and being able to provide them with good foundations both in education and in life.
Teacher Cecilia hopes that the pandemic will be over soon so children can attend school once again and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face learning.
