Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao - PAF

TOWEASTMIN LEADS MULTI-AGENCY OUTREACH ACTIVITY IN TALICUD ISLAND, DAVAO DEL NORTE

A total of 356 residents of Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Talicud Island, Davao del Norte, benefited from a comprehensive medical, dental, and humanitarian outreach program led by the Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao (TOWEASTMIN) on 25 May 2026.

The mission brought essential services directly to the community, delivering more than 300 healthcare interventions, including medical consultations, dental treatments, and eye screenings for families and children. School supplies were also distributed to local students to support their educational needs.

This initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of the Philippine Air Force and other committed stakeholders who share a common goal of serving communities in need.

Through programs like this, TOWEASTMIN continues to bridge gaps in public service delivery to geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas, while strengthening the bond between the military and the communities it proudly serves.

With deep sorrow, the Philippine Air Force mourns the passing of the two pilots involved in the SF-260 training flight mishap in Tuba, Benguet. We extend our heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families, loved ones, and fellow airmen during this time of grief.

A SALUTE TO OUR FALLEN AIRMEN

The Philippine Air Force mourns the untimely passing of First Lieutenant Ruth Angelique R Pasos PAF and Second Lieutenant Cherky E Embudo PAF, who lost their lives following the SF-260 trainer aircraft mishap in Tuba, Benguet, during a training flight under the Military Pilot Training on May 20, 2026. Their courage, dedication, and commitment to duty will always be remembered by the Philippine Air Force and the nation they faithfully served.

The Philippine Air Force extends its deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, loved ones, friends, and fellow airmen of our fallen pilots. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten, and their memory will continue to inspire generations of Filipino airmen.
