CONGRATULATIONS, SIRS AND MAAMS!

The BJMP Chaplaincy Service Office XI successfully conducted a Thanksgiving Mass last November 14, 2025, Friday, in honor of the promotion of BJMP-XI Jail Officers in Rank especially that of its Regional Director, JCSUPT RUFINO M SANTIAGO JR, TLPE to his well-deserved star rank. The solemn celebration was held at BJMPRO-XI Conference Room, BJMP Compound, Maa Davao City and was attended by key officers, personnel, and invited guests who gathered to express gratitude for this significant milestone in the Bureau’s leadership.

The Mass was officiated by the BJMPRO-XI Regional Chaplain, JCINSP CHRIS NAPOLEON P NOMBRES, who centered the liturgy on themes of gratitude, servant leadership, and divine guidance. In his homily, the presiding chaplain highlighted the importance of humility and stewardship in positions of greater responsibility, reminding the congregation that every promotion reflects not just personal achievement but also a deeper calling to serve God, the organization, and the Filipino people.

The event also served as an opportunity for BJMP personnel to show their support and appreciation for the Regional Director, whose promotion symbolizes years of committed service, exemplary performance, and unwavering dedication to the Bureau’s mandate. The presence of officers and staff from various units further emphasized the unity and shared joy within the regional office.

The Thanksgiving Mass concluded with a special prayer of blessing for the newly promoted star-rank Regional Director, invoking guidance, wisdom, and strength as he assumes broader responsibilities in the organization.

Overall, the activity was conducted smoothly and meaningfully, fulfilling its purpose of giving thanks for a remarkable milestone in the professional journey of the Regional Director.
