𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧!

Digos City National High School proudly marks the culmination of the visit of the delegation from Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA), Indonesia, under the Southeast Asian Teacher Project (SEA Teacher) Batch 11.

The visit served as a meaningful avenue for sharing educational practices, exploring diverse classroom approaches, and strengthening mutual understanding between Indonesian and Filipino educators. Through their participation in the Philippine educational setting, the four UNISSULA student participants gained valuable opportunities to experience local teaching practices, engage with the school community, and appreciate the richness of Philippine education and culture.

𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗢, 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗬 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗔 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧

Sa kabila ng matinding init ng panahon, nananatiling matatag ang Digos City National High School sa pagsusulong ng makabuluhang pagkatuto sa pamamagitan ng blended learning modality ngayong Oktubre 20, 2026, bilang pagsunod sa anunsiyo ng pamahalaan at pagtiyak sa kaligtasan ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Sa pangunguna at pangangasiwa ng school heads at department heads, isinagawa ng mga g**o sa lahat ng asignatura ang mga online classes, digital asynchronous instructions, at tuloy-tuloy na pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga mag-aaral upang matiyak ang paggabay at pagpapatuloy ng mga gawaing pampagkatuto.

Samantala, naging kasangkapan naman sa English at Mathematics ang Khan Academy upang higit na mapukaw ang interes ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng mga digital na gawaing interaktibo at angkop sa kanilang pangangailangan.

Ipinakita ng gawaing ito na sa kabila ng mga hamon ng panahon, nananatiling matatag ang DiCNHS sa pagsusulong ng de-kalidad na edukasyon, nang hindi isinasantabi ang kaligtasan, kalusugan, at kapakanan ng bawat mag-aaral at kawani.

DiCNHS English Department ensures that learning continues through the blended learning modality on October 20, 2026, following the issuance of Executive Order No. 50, s. 2026, by the City Government of Digos in response to the forecasted extreme heat index. Prioritizing the safety and well-being of learners and teachers, the department adapts its instructional delivery to ensure that learning remains uninterrupted despite challenging weather conditions.

Learners engage in various home-based tasks and digital learning activities, including the use of Khan Academy, to continue developing their knowledge and skills. Through these efforts, the department sustains meaningful learning experiences and ensures that learners remain engaged in their studies despite the change in learning arrangements.

In accordance with Executive Order No. 50, Series of 2026 of the City Government of Digos, Digos City National High School shifts to blended learning modality, October 20, 2026.

This measure is in response to the projected heat index of 43°C (109.4°F), classified by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) under the “Danger” category. Such extreme heat poses potential health risks, including heat exhaustion and heatstroke, particularly for individuals exposed to high temperatures for extended periods.

These precautionary measures prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel while ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning through appropriate learning arrangements.

The school encourages all learners and parents to stay informed, follow the instructions provided by their respective teachers, remain hydrated, minimize exposure to extreme heat, and observe necessary health and safety precautions.

In accordance with the announcement of the City Government of Digos regarding the forecasted heat index of 43°C, Digos City National High School will shift to a blended learning modality today, Tuesday, October 20, 2026, to ensure the safety and well-being of its learners and personnel.

All learners are advised to stay tuned to their respective class group chats for announcements, instructions, and learning activities from their teachers.

Meanwhile, all teaching personnel and school-based non-teaching personnel will observe a work-from-home arrangement.

As we continue learning while prioritizing everyone's health and safety, we remind our learners, teachers, and personnel to take the necessary precautions against extreme heat.
