Atty. Hermosisima served with honor and distinction as Sangguniang Panlungsod Member from 2004โ€“2010, City Vice Mayor from 2010โ€“2019, and again as Sangguniang Panlungsod Member from 2022โ€“2025.

Through the years, he became an integral part of the city's legislative and local governance journey. His commitment to public service, wisdom in leadership, and dedication to the welfare of his constituents have left a lasting mark on the community he served.

His passing is a great loss not only to his family and loved ones, but also to the people of Digos City and to all those who had the privilege of working with and learning from him.

May we remember Atty. Rey S. Hermosisima not only for the positions he held, but for the service, leadership, and legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Atty. Rey. Your years of dedicated service to Digos City will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.
