The activity aimed to ensure compliance of fuel storage and retail facilities with the provisions of the Fire Code, fire safety standards, and other applicable regulations. It also involved identifying and assessing potential fire hazards that may arise from the storage and handling of petroleum products.
Furthermore, the activity promotes the preparedness and safety of gasoline station personnel, particularly in anticipation of a possible increase in fuel demand due to changes or increases in petroleum product prices.
Through regular monitoring and inspection, Dimasalang Fire Station continues to promote fire prevention, strengthen fire safety preparedness, and safeguard public safety.

The activity focused on Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) familiarization, proper donning and doffing procedures, and operational safety practices. The activity aimed to enhance personnelโ€™s knowledge and practical skills in the proper use of SCBA during firefighting, rescue operations, and other emergencies involving smoke-filled, oxygen-deficient, or hazardous environments. Through hands-on training and practical exercises, personnel were able to reinforce their understanding of SCBA components, proper equipment handling, air supply monitoring, and safety precautions.

Through the continuous implementation of the 7 Modes of Daily Activities, particularly Skills Enhancement every Thursday, the Dimasalang Fire Station remains committed to strengthening personnel competency, improving operational preparedness, and ensuring the safe and effective ex*****on of emergency response operations.
