On 06 September 2026, Di**le Fire Station Shift B personnel, led by SFO4 John Paul D Ituriaga, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Daily Skills Refresher on proper hose throwing, folding, rolling, and coupling techniques.

The activity aimed to maintain and enhance the personnel's proficiency in the proper handling, deployment, and connection of fire hoses and related firefighting equipment. Through continuous hands-on practice, personnel strengthened their speed, coordination, accuracy, and familiarity with hose operationsβ€”essential skills in ensuring efficient and effective fire suppression during emergency response.

Regular skills refresher activities help ensure that Di**le Fire Station personnel remain physically and operationally prepared to respond promptly and safely to fire incidents and other emergencies, ultimately contributing to the protection of lives and property.

On 05 October 2026, SFO4 John Paul D Ituriaga, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal of Di**le Fire Station, paid a courtesy call to the newly installed Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Di**le Municipal Police Station, PCPT JOHNNY C ORO.

The courtesy call aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination, communication, and partnership between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine National Police in Di**le. The activity also provided an opportunity to discuss matters concerning public safety, emergency response, disaster preparedness, and mutual support during fire incidents and other emergencies.

The activity focused on the physical inspection, verification, and validation of the station’s equipment and logistical resources to ensure that all accountable items are properly recorded, available, and maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures. The inventory also serves as an important measure in determining the operational readiness and proper utilization of resources assigned to the station.
