The Local Government Unit of Diplahan, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Eric Y. Palma, with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Ramil M. Villaruel and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with Municipal Administrator Marie Yvonne V. Palma, wrapped up the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) on September 30, 2026 with a day of learning, teamwork, and recognition.

The final day featured the Lingkod Bayani Quiz Bee, the Lingkod Bayani Challenge, and the Culminating Program, where we recognized the winners of the PCSA games, our Loyalty Awardees, and Service Awardees.

More than the competitions and awards, this celebration was a reminder of the value of teamwork, dedication, and meaningful public service.

As we close this year’s celebration, we look forward with gratitude and optimism to another year of serving our community—with renewed purpose, stronger camaraderie, and greater hope for an even more meaningful 127th PCSA celebration.

The Local Government Unit of Diplahan, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Eric Y. Palma, with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Ramil M. Villaruel and Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with Municipal Administrator Marie Yvonne V. Palma, in coordination with the DICT Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office, conducted “SMART, SAFE, AND SECURE: Empowering Public Servants for Digital Excellence and Trusted Service” on September 21–22, 2026, at the Diplahan Digital Transformation Center, in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

The two-day training, facilitated by the DICT Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office, focused on strengthening the digital skills, cybersecurity awareness, and information security practices of LGU personnel. It covered basic and advanced digital literacy, cybersecurity, and the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) to help personnel work more efficiently and securely in an increasingly digital workplace.

Through this initiative, LGU Diplahan continues to equip its workforce to be SMART in using technology, SAFE in the digital environment, and SECURE in handling government information and digital transactions toward more efficient, reliable, and trusted public service.

The Local Government Unit of Diplahan, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Eric Y. Palma, with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Ramil M. Villaruel and Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with Municipal Administrator Marie Yvonne V. Palma, conducted a lecture on the Responsible and Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Civil Service last September 14, 2026, at the Diplahan Tropical Resort, in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

The lecture was facilitated by Mr. Emmanuel O. Calvo, Computer Programmer II, who shared practical insights on how AI can help improve productivity and efficiency while upholding ethics, accountability, data privacy, transparency, and responsible decision-making.

As AI becomes part of the modern workplace, employees are encouraged to embrace its benefits while using it responsibly and mindfully. After all, technology is most valuable when it helps us serve better while keeping people at the heart of public service.

READY TO RESPOND, READY TO SAVE LIVES: LGU DIPLAHAN COMPLETES BLS AND FIRST AID TRAINING

The Local Government Unit of Diplahan, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Eric Y. Palma, with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Ramil M. Villaruel and Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with Municipal Administrator Marie Yvonne V. Palma, conducted the Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

Following the successful conduct of Module 1: Basic Life Support last September 8–11, 2026, LGU Diplahan successfully completed Module 2: Bandaging on September 15–18, 2026, with the participation of employees, Job Order workers, and Contract of Service workers.

Through hands-on learning and practical exercises, participants strengthened their skills in providing immediate assistance and responding appropriately during emergencies.

With the successful completion of the two-module training, LGU Diplahan continues to foster a workforce that is prepared, capable, and ready to respond when it matters most.

Ang Municipal Assessor’s Office – LGU Diplahan nagpahibalo sa publiko bahin sa bag-ong direktiba sa Office of the Provincial Assessor of Zamboanga Sibugay kalabot sa mga Real Property Tax Declaration nga naglambigit sa Forest/Public Lands.

Base sa maong direktiba, ang pagproseso sa transfer sa Tax Declaration alang sa mga yutang sakop sa Forest/Public Lands dili mahimong ipatuman kung walay tukmang legal nga basihan ug dokumentasyon.

Para sa bag-ong nadiskubreng property nga ipadeclare alang sa taxation purposes, gikinahanglan ang DENR Certification nga nagpamatuod nga ang yuta kay Alienable and Disposable (A&D).

👉 Palihog ang mga property owners ug mga interesado nga magpa-process sa Tax Declaration nga masiguro ang kompletong dokumento ug legal nga status sa yuta aron malikayan ang kalangan o pagbalik-balik sa proseso.

📌 Para sa dugang impormasyon ug klaripikasyon, palihog bisitaha ang Municipal Assessor’s Office – LGU Diplahan.
