Health Office and Agriculture Office Champion Rabies Awareness

Be responsible pet owners as there is no cure for rabies once symptoms appears. Symptoms include photophobia (fear of light), aerophobia (fear of air/drafts), and hydrophobia (fear of water). This was the message of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Darbie Madriaga during the LGU flag raising ceremony. The talk is part of the celebration of Rabies Awareness Month by LGU-Dolores under the leadership of Mayor Conde Turqueza.

Meanwhile, Municipal Agriculture Office Focal for Small and Large Animals emphasized that pet owners must cooperate and submit their pets for vaccination to ensure a rabies-free community.
