Today, the youth of Dolores came together not just to listen, but to learn, speak, connect, and take part in shaping the community they call home.

Because every voice matters. Every story has value. And every young person has a role in creating change.

Our heartfelt thanks to our resource speakers and partner agencies from RHU Dolores, DOH-HRH, MDRRMO Dolores, PNP Dolores, and BFP Dolores for generously sharing your knowledge, time, and expertise with the youth of Dolores.

And most especially, our deepest gratitude to the Father of our Municipality, Mayor Engineer Conde T. Turqueza, for his continued support and commitment to the youth of Dolores.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Pederasyon ng Dolores proudly presents this year's celebration, guided by the theme: “𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.” Despite our diverse backgrounds, unique stories, and varied experiences, our dreams for a progressive and united Dolores bind us together.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY!
Today, we join the global community in celebrating the invaluable role of young people in building stronger, more inclusive, and progressive communities.
This year’s theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” reminds us that young people may come from different backgrounds, experiences, cultures, and circumstances, but we share common hopes and aspirations for a better future.
May we continue to create opportunities where every young person feels heard, valued, supported, and empowered to participate in the development of our community.
Let us celebrate our differences, learn from one another, and work together toward the aspirations we share.

In line with the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, the Local Youth Development Office successfully conducted the NEXTGEN Against Drugs Symposium on June 26, 2026, at the Dolores Evacuation Center, with the theme:

“World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses.”

The symposium gathered the Senior High School students of Heart of Mary High School, empowering them with knowledge on the realities of substance abuse, mental health, crime prevention, and the vital role of the youth in building a drug-free and resilient community.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our dedicated resource speakers from the Dolores Municipal Police Station (PNP Dolores), the Rural Health Unit of Dolores, and the Local Youth Development Office, for sharing their expertise, experiences, and inspiring messages that encouraged our young people to make informed, responsible, and life-affirming choices.

This initiative serves as a reminder that the fight against illegal drugs is a shared responsibility. Through awareness, education, collaboration, and youth empowerment, we can create safer communities and brighter futures for the next generation.

Together, let us continue to be advocates of hope, resilience, and positive change.

This month, we honor the courage to live authentically, the freedom to love openly, and the diversity that makes our communities stronger and more compassionate.

Together with the Filipino youth, let us continue building safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where everyone is free to express who they are, free to love, and free from discrimination, prejudice, and hate.
