The goal of the National Learning Camp is to create a collaborative learning environment where individuals can share their expertise and learn from each other to address pressing teaching and learning challenges.

Collaboration can help teachers share ideas and best practices, which can improve teaching and learning in their own classrooms. By working together, teachers can develop new lesson plans, assessment tools, and other resources that benefit all students.

We are thrilled to share the incredible outcomes of our third day of implementation! The magic of group games and activities, bringing literature to life through roleplaying, simple experiments, and ICT integration has truly sparked enthusiasm in our students' learning journey.

As we observed each activity, we witnessed students' confidence soar and their passion for knowledge ignited! We are incredibly proud of their growth and can't wait to see what they will achieve tomorrow.

LOOK| DAY 2 of National Learning Camp at Hilabaan National High School

Aligned with the Department of Education's MATATAG Agenda, Hilabaan NHS is actively participating in the National Learning Camp Program.

Expansion to other grade levels and learning areas is set in the succeeding school years, with national programs on Reading, Mathematics, and Science and Technology targeted to be rolled out starting School Year 2023-2024. Under the NLC, learners who will join shall be enrolled in one of the three camps based on their specific needs: consolidation, enhancement, or intervention.

The consolidation camp is designed to "provide further practice on and application of previously taught competencies." Opportunities will be provided in this camp to identify links connecting concepts and skills across grade-level competencies.

The enhancement camp, meanwhile, aims to "enrich learning for advanced learners by providing greater depth, breadth, and complexity of learning area competencies."

The intervention camp seeks to "support high- need learners who are yet to grasp Foundational Mathematics and/or Foundational English skills."

Hilabaan National High School Launches the National Learning Camp 2023.

The Hilabaan National High School's faculty and staff extend their warm welcome to the Grade 7 and 8 learners participating in the National Learning Camp 2023. The participants were provided with free snacks and school supplies to support their learning journey.

The National Learning Camp is exclusively designed for Grade 7 and 8 learners, Grade 9 to 10 learners in enrichment classes, and incoming Grade 12 learners in advancement classes. This program promises to be an exciting and enriching experience, with a variety of activities that will broaden the horizons of all participants.

Parents and guardians, get ready to witness your children's growth and achievements during the National Learning Camp! Let's make this summer an unforgettable experience filled with knowledge and wonderful memories.
