𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Tourism Office of the Municipality of Dumanjug conducted a virtual mapping activity led and initiated by the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office in collaboration with MATA Technologies.

The initiative aims to strengthen local tourism and create a more immersive and interactive experience for both the host community and visiting tourists through advanced virtual mapping technology.

As part of the project, the team also explored, located, and mapped several rivers and waterfalls in Dumanjug that are considered hidden gems of the municipality.

These natural attractions highlight the town’s rich eco-tourism potential and are expected to help promote lesser-known destinations, encouraging more visitors to discover the beauty and natural wonders of Dumanjug.

The breathtaking beauty of Pityak Falls in Tubod-Duguan, Dumanjug, Cebu — a hidden paradise where nature’s charm flows endlessly and every view feels like a masterpiece.

Sharing these amazing artworks created by our talented participants during the On-the-Spot Painting Contest held last May 7, 2026. Each piece beautifully showcased the creativity, passion, and unique artistic vision of every participant, turning blank canvases into meaningful expressions of art. We are proud to feature these inspiring works that reflect both skill and imagination.

Look | the On-the-Spot Painting Contest has officially started here at the Kiosk of Dionisio Jakosalem Plaza! Talented participants are now showcasing their creativity and artistic skills as they bring their ideas to life on canvas.

The venue is filled with excitement as everyone witnesses this celebration of art and talent as part of the Dionisio Jakosalem Day celebration.

We are pleased to officially announce the individuals who have secured their slots as official participants for the 3rd Dumanjug On-the-Spot Painting Contest after successfully completing and submitting the registration through the Google Form. Congratulations to all selected participants, and thank you for your interest and enthusiasm in being part of this year’s competition.

Our Thanksgiving Party for Tribu Septimo of the Municipality of Dumanjug was truly a celebration of gratitude, unity, and success.

The day began with a solemn Holy Mass, where we offered our prayers and thanksgiving for the blessings, strength, and guidance that led us through our journey.

After the Mass, the celebration continued with a meaningful program highlighting the hard work and dedication of every member. Certificates were distributed in recognition of the commitment, teamwork, and sacrifices that made Tribu Septimo’s achievements possible. Each award symbolized the passion and perseverance behind every performance.

As we concluded this wonderful celebration, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mayor Gungun Gica, Municipal Administrator Atty. Loura Mae S. Alviola, Vice Mayor Wado Gica, the honorable Sangguniang Bayan Members, MDC Production and their Artistic Director Marvey Bastida Caño, and to all the hardworking support staff who stood behind us every step of the way.
