Pre-Donation Information

Basic qualifications:
1. 16-60 years old (written consent from parents for 16-17)
2. 50kgs or more
3. Normal vital signs (will be screened on site-BP, Pulse rate, etc)
4. Well balanced meal (no fatty foods 4 hours prior donation)
5. At least 6 hours quality sleep
6. No smoking 4 hours prior donation
7. Increase fluid intake except those containing caffeine
