MASADYA NGA BASKETBALL EXHIBITION GAME, THIS JUNE 5, 2026, LANTAW KITA AT THE DUMARAO CIVIC CENTER.

The sports 🏀 activities starting this June are preliminary activities in line with the celebration of annual fiesta of the town of Dumarao on August 5, 2026.

What a nice day to celebrate the National Heritage Month!

The Municipality of Dumarao under the leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Mateo C. Hachuela, through the Municipal Tourism Office received the official book of the Local Cultural Inventory of the Dumarao, Capiz today at CAPSU Main, Roxas City.

The event “Pagbuklad: Book Launching Ceremony” were personally attended by Ms. Angela B. Delao, Municipal Administrator and Municipal Tourism Officer and Ms. Camelle Sheine Santos of Tourism Office and they personally received the Local Cultural Inventory of Dumarao, Capiz.

A Local Cultural Inventory serves as a valuable record of a community’s heritage, traditions, arts, historical sites, and cultural practices. It aims to preserve and promote local identity, support cultural tourism, guide heritage conservation efforts, and educate future generations about the richness of local culture and history. Through proper documentation, communities can protect their unique traditions while fostering pride, unity, and sustainable development.

This was sucessfully done through the collective efforts of CAPSU Main - Roxas City, University of the Philippines, LGU Dumarao especially the Tourism Office, DepEd Dumarao, Province of Capiz through PTCAO and most importantly, to the Key Informants who play a vital role in making this possible.
