𝟐𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐀𝐅𝐏 𝐈𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟑𝟔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐅𝐏 𝐂𝐎𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓

The 2nd Regional Community Defense Group (2RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, joined the 502nd Infantry Brigade, 5ID, PA in the commemoration of the 36th AFP Code of Conduct and Renewal of Pledge during the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony on October 5, 2026, at H502Bde, 5ID, PA, Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz (Annex), Soyung, Echague, Isabela.

The activity was highlighted by the message of BGen Rhoderick L. Parallag, Commander, 502nd Infantry Brigade, and the reading of the CSAFP’s message.

Meanwhile, the five (5) Community Defense Centers (CDCs) under 2RCDG participated in the simultaneous observance at their respective locations.

The activity reaffirmed the commitment of 2RCDG and its CDCs to uphold integrity, discipline, professionalism, patriotism, and dedication to duty in faithful service to the Filipino people and the nation.

𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐑 𝐅. 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐙 (𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐗), 𝐒𝐎𝐘𝐔𝐍𝐆, 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐄, 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐀 —Colonel Bernard T. Ragus, Group Commander, 2nd Regional Community Defense Group (2RCDG), RESCOM, PA, conducted a lecture on the Operational-Level Reserve Force and Mobilization Readiness Framework for reservist personnel of the 1602nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade (1602nd RRIBde) on October 3, 2026, at H2RCDG Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz (Annex), Soyung, Echague, Isabela.

During the engagement, Col. Ragus emphasized the vital role of reservists in strengthening national security, supporting disaster response, and contributing to socio-economic development. He discussed the duties and responsibilities of citizen-soldiers, highlighting the importance of 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 in fulfilling their responsibilities when called to duty.

Col. Ragus also challenged the 1602nd RRIBde to intensify its participation in brigade-level activities, sustain skills development, and strengthen capacity-building initiatives. He stressed that regular training and practical exercises are essential to ensuring that reservists remain capable of responding effectively to emerging defense, security, and humanitarian challenges.

Dela Cruz (Annex), Soyung, Echague, Isabela.

The inspection focused on monitoring the progress of the project and assessing its development in support of the operational and administrative requirements of the Reserve Force. The elevated water tank is intended to enhance water storage and accessibility within the camp, contributing to a more functional and sustainable facility for reserve personnel.

The activity also highlighted the importance of maintaining adequate camp facilities and infrastructure that support the 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙢𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚.

The conference focused on assessing the 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲, 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡-𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬. It also provided a platform to review ongoing initiatives, address organizational concerns, and synchronize efforts among the Group and its CDCs toward more effective administration and management of the Reserve Force.

The activity forms part of the Group Commander’s 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬-𝐨𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, ensuring that emerging requirements and organizational concerns are identified and addressed through timely, responsive, and coordinated actions.

During the visit, the Group Commander, 2RCDG, Colonel Bernard T. Ragus FS (GSC) PA, welcomed Major Munda and invited him to serve as one of God’s messengers in the Group’s weekly Spiritual Enrichment Activity every Wednesday, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. The initiative aims to bring God’s Word closer to personnel, providing spiritual guidance, wisdom, and moral direction as they perform their duties and accomplish their missions. Beyond the workplace, the activity seeks to positively influence the whole life of every soldier—strengthening faith, character, values, resilience, and family and personal life, ultimately fostering a spiritually grounded, morally upright, and dedicated Reserve Force Administrators

The 2RCDG remains committed to fostering spiritual growth and strengthening the bonds of fellowship among its personnel through regular spiritual activities.
