This message took center stage during the 4th session of PARKonversations Live! last 2 October 2026, held at The Gallery, Rizal Park Luneta, with Ms. Dina H. Loomis as Resource Speaker for the discussion, “Presence, Power, and Public Spaces: Communicating Dignity and Inclusion Across Generations.”

An internationally recognized professional speaker and trainer, Ms. Loomis shared her insights on active aging, personal presence, communication, leadership, and the role of inclusive public spaces in fostering dignity and confidence among older adults.

Held in celebration of Elderly Filipino Week, the session brought together senior citizens, community advocates, and participants for a meaningful conversation on how public spaces can better welcome, connect, and empower every generation.

Through PARKonversations Live!, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) continues to open conversations that remind us that our parks are spaces not only for recreation and heritage, but also for presence, power, and public dignity.

🚨 ATTENTION PARK PROFESSIONALS AND ADVOCATES!

As the Philippine Parks Congress (PPC) marks its 5th year, we are taking professional development to the next level. Eligible participants will soon be able to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points at the 2026 PPC!

Yesterday, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), led by Executive Director Cecille A. Lorenzana, and Sustainable Accessible and Free Water (SAFE) Droplet, Inc., Executive Director Angelito H. Bisquera, Jr., signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to advance their shared efforts in securing CPD accreditation for the 2026 Philippine Parks Congress.

Through this partnership, SAFE Droplet, Inc. will provide technical assistance and support to the NPDC in the application of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation for the 2026 PPC, ensuring that the event will offer an enriched platform for capacity-building, expert knowledge-sharing, and future-forward collaboration among park advocates and licensed professionals across the nation.

The 7th Anniversary of the Stop and Salute Flag Raising Ceremony was held this morning at the Independence Flagpole, the tallest flagpole in the Philippines at Rizal Park Luneta, bringing together partner organizations, guests, and the public in a shared expression of respect for the Philippine flag. 🇵🇭

The ceremony marked another year of Stop and Salute, continuing a tradition that calls on us to pause, stand with respect, and honor the Philippine flag as a symbol of our identity and unity as Filipinos.

The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) extends the agency’s appreciation to all who joined this year’s celebration and to all who made the program more special through their participation and support.
