Old Poblacion National High School would like to inform the public that, up to this date, our school has no verified “Alias Jacob” student involved in or has been identified by the appropriate authorities as being involved in the alleged Escalante National High School gun-related threat as posted in social media by an unverified facebook user “Jhia Cecilia”

We encourage everyone to exercise caution in sharing or believing unverified information, as doing so may unfairly affect individuals and their families. We respectfully urge the public to rely only on official statements from the proper authorities and to refrain from spreading rumors or misinformation.

Our school remains committed to safeguarding the welfare, rights, and privacy of our students while cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities whenever necessary.

The Old Poblacion National High School (OPNHS) successfully opened the classes for School Year 2026-2027 last June 8, 2026.

The teachers, office staff and learners had their first flag ceremony for the school year at the OPNHS Activity Center.

Old Poblacion National High School conducted its annual Brigada Eskwela from June 1-5, 2026.

It is done to prepare classrooms and the school for the opening of classes on June 8, 2026.

It was participated by parents, teachers, students, and other stakeholders.

The homecoming was joined by different batches who brought energy and shared laughters that made the celebration even fun and memorable.

The alumni homecoming is celebrated every three years according to the Old Poblacion National High School Alumni Association by laws.
