INSET DAY 2 || CLOSING PROGRAM

A DAY OF LEARNING, REFLECTION, AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

INSET 2026 was truly a productive and enriching experience for the teachers of Bued East Elementary School. From Differentiated Math Instructions, Gamified Math Games, Strengthening reading interventions and understanding the new school handbook, to revisiting Bloom’s Taxonomy and improving our skills in constructing a Table of Specifications, each session provided valuable knowledge that can be translated into meaningful classroom practice.

More than gaining new information, INSET gives teachers the opportunity to reflect on their practices, learn from one another, share experiences, and continuously improve for the benefit of every learner.

As educators, we recognize that professional growth is a continuous journey. Every training, every discussion, and every shared experience brings us one step closer to becoming more effective, responsive, and committed teachers.

As a way of recognizing the valuable contributions and active participation of everyone who made the INSET meaningful and successful, Certificates of Recognition and Certificates of Participation were awarded during the closing program. 🏆📜

Together, let us continue to LEARN. GROW. COLLABORATE. AND INSPIRE. 🌱📚✨

INSET DAY 2 || AFTERNOON SESSIONS 🌤️

The learning continued in the afternoon with two equally significant sessions focused on assessment and effective teaching practices.

📝 Speaker 3: Sir Rocky V. Castro, School Principal
Topic: “Revisiting Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives”

Our School Principal, Sir Rocky V. Castro, led an insightful session on Revisiting Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives.

The discussion provided teachers with an opportunity to refresh and strengthen their understanding of the different levels of thinking and learning. From remembering and understanding to applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating, teachers were encouraged to carefully consider how classroom activities and assessment questions can develop learners’ higher-order thinking skills.

The session reminded everyone that effective teaching goes beyond recalling information. It is also about helping learners think critically, apply what they know, analyze situations, make sound judgments, and create meaningful outputs. 💡

📝 Speaker 4: Ma’am Charmine E. Zarate
Topic: “Constructing the Table of Specifications”

The final session for Day 2 was facilitated by Ma’am Charmine E. Zarate, focusing on the Constructing of the Table of Specifications (TOS).

The discussion emphasized the importance of preparing a well-balanced and appropriate Table of Specifications as a guide in developing quality assessment tools. Teachers were guided in understanding how competencies, instructional time, cognitive levels, and test items should be properly considered to ensure that assessments accurately reflect what learners have been taught and what they are expected to learn.

The session also highlighted that a carefully constructed TOS helps promote fairness, alignment, balance, and validity in classroom assessment—making it an essential tool in ensuring that our tests truly measure the intended learning competencies.

Together, let us continue to LEARN. GROW. COLLABORATE. AND INSPIRE. 🌱📚✨

📚✨ INSET 2026 | DAY 1 ✨📚
Strengthening Mathematics Instruction Through Differentiation and Gamification

Despite the challenges brought by the suspension of classes, learning and professional development continue!

On September 10, 2026, the teachers of Bued East Elementary School successfully conducted Day 1 of the In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 through a virtual session via Google Meet. The online platform provided an avenue for teachers to come together, learn from one another, and strengthen their instructional practices while continuing to uphold the commitment to quality education. 💻👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

The session began with meaningful Opening Remarks delivered by our School Principal, Sir Rocky Castro, who emphasized the importance of continuous professional growth, collaboration, and innovation in responding to the diverse learning needs of our pupils. His message served as an inspiration for all teachers to remain committed to improving their teaching practices and creating meaningful learning experiences for every learner. 📖

The program was ably facilitated by our Emcee, Dr. Dulce Balce, Teacher VI, who guided the participants throughout the day’s activities and ensured a smooth and engaging flow of the virtual training. 🎤✨

🎯 SPEAKER 1: MR. CECILIO PARAYNO JR.
Topic: “Differentiated Instruction in Mathematics”

The first session focused on Differentiated Instruction in Mathematics, highlighting the importance of recognizing and responding to the varying abilities, interests, learning styles, and needs of learners.

Through this session, teachers were reminded that learners do not learn in exactly the same way or at the same pace. Hence, providing appropriate strategies, activities, and learning opportunities can help ensure that every pupil is given a meaningful chance to understand and succeed in Mathematics. ➕✖️📊

The discussion provided valuable insights on how teachers can make Mathematics instruction more responsive, inclusive, and learner-centered—helping pupils develop confidence while addressing their individual learning needs. 💡

🎮 SPEAKER 2: MS. CLARISSE ESPINOZA
Topic: “Level Up Mathematics Learning Through Gamification Activities”

The second session brought excitement and creativity into Mathematics through gamification! 🎲🧩🎯

Ms. Clarisse Espinoza shared innovative ways of transforming Mathematics lessons into more engaging and enjoyable learning experiences through game-based activities. The session emphasized how carefully designed games can encourage active participation, motivation, collaboration, problem-solving, and deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

By integrating fun and meaningful challenges into instruction, teachers can help learners see Mathematics not simply as a subject to master, but as an exciting learning experience where they can explore, participate, make mistakes, try again, and celebrate progress. 🌟

Day 1 of INSET 2026 was more than just a virtual training session. It was an opportunity for teachers to learn, reflect, collaborate, and grow together.

Indeed, professional development is a continuous journey. Every new strategy we learn, every idea we share, and every reflection we make brings us one step closer to becoming more effective and responsive educators.

🌱 We learn. We innovate. We collaborate. We grow.
📚 Together, we level up Mathematics learning!
💚 Together, we continue building better learning experiences for our pupils!

🚨 BUED EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL JOINS THE 3RD QUARTER NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026! 🚨

On September 10, 2026, at exactly 2:00 PM, the teaching and non-teaching personnel, learners, and families of Bued East Elementary School actively participated in the 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

Although classes were suspended due to the prevailing weather disturbance, the safety and preparedness of our learners and school community remained a priority. 💚

Instead of gathering at school, our learners participated in the earthquake drill from the safety of their homes, together with their parents, guardians, and family members. 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The activity provided an opportunity for everyone to practice the essential “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and to become more familiar with what to do before, during, and after an earthquake. These simple but important actions can help protect lives and reduce the risk of injury during an actual emergency. 🙏🛡️

The participation of our learners at home reminds us that disaster preparedness is not limited to the school grounds. Safety begins at home, in our classrooms, and in every community where we live. By continuously practicing emergency procedures, we help build a culture of preparedness, discipline, and resilience among our learners. 💪🌱

We are grateful to our parents and guardians for guiding and supporting our learners in carrying out the drill at home. Your cooperation plays an important role in ensuring that our children know how to respond calmly and properly during emergencies.

👏 Great job to all Bued East Elementary School learners, parents, teachers, and staff for actively participating in the 3rd Quarter NSED 2026!

Let us continue to stay alert, prepared, and resilient. Every drill is a reminder that being prepared today can make a difference when an emergency happens. 🌏❤️

“Ligtas ang handa! Kahandaan ay susi sa kaligtasan!” 🚨🫶

🦟🛡️ Keeping Our Learners Safe and Our School Healthy | September 2026

Bued East Elementary School expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Calasiao, under the leadership of Mayor Patrick Caramat, for its continued commitment to protecting the health and safety of our school communities.

As part of the LGU’s proactive efforts to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases, a Larvicidal Treatment was conducted within the premises of Bued East Elementary School. The activity aimed to eliminate mosquito larvae in stagnant waters and other potential breeding sites and help maintain a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Calasiao Municipal Health Office – Rural Sanitary Inspector Team, particularly Sir Patrick Angeles, Sir Ariel Bondoc Flores, and Sir Ramil Jacang, for their dedicated service and efforts in carrying out this important health intervention.

We are also grateful to the Bued Barangay Council, headed by Punong Barangay Kap. Allan Roy Macanlalay, for its valuable support and cooperation. Our thanks as well to Barangay Kagawad Marcial Pereyras, BHW Renzy Manaois Guardiana, and Leo Relosa for assisting in the conduct of the operation.

A special appreciation goes to Ma’am Liezl Zapanta, Staff Midwife of the Calasiao Municipal Health Office, for her active involvement and support in this initiative. 💙

The health and safety of our learners is a shared responsibility. Initiatives such as this demonstrate the power of collaboration among the LGU, Municipal Health Office, Barangay Council, and school community in creating an environment where children can learn and thrive with greater safety and peace of mind.

From the entire Bued East Elementary School Family, maraming-maraming salamat po for your service, partnership, and genuine concern for the welfare of our learners. 🙏💙🐝

Together, we keep our school safe, healthy, and ready for learning.

Believe. Engage. Excel. Succeed.

📚 School-Based LAC Session | September 4, 2026

Learning continues, even beyond the classroom. 💙📚

Bued East Elementary School conducted a School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session on September 4, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 AM, focusing on the Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program, pursuant to DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026.

Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes and the shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) pursuant to the Memorandum Circular issued by Malacañang, the Bued East ES teaching force made meaningful use of the opportunity to learn, clarify, and deepen their understanding of the updated guidelines.

With the preparation of learners’ grades for the 1st Term underway, the session served as an important venue for teachers to revisit the revised policies, discuss their implications in classroom practice, clarify concerns, and strengthen their understanding of the proper assessment and grading processes. The discussions also emphasized the importance of ensuring that grades and recognition are based on fair, accurate, transparent, and evidence-based assessment of learner performance.

The session was facilitated by our School Head, Dr. Rocky V. Castro, who led the discussion and provided guidance and clarification on the key provisions of the new guidelines. Through collaborative discussion and professional sharing, teachers were given the opportunity to align their practices and ensure that the assessment of every learner reflects both accuracy and fairness.

More than simply understanding a new policy, the SLAC session reaffirmed our collective responsibility to make assessment a meaningful part of learning—one that helps us recognize learners’ strengths, identify areas for improvement, and provide the support they need to succeed.

At Bued East Elementary School, every opportunity to learn is an opportunity to become better educators for our learners. 💙🐝

Believe. Engage. Excel. Succeed.
