The terms global warming and climate change may seem like they have the same meaning and are often used interchangeably, it actually applies to different phenomena. Climate change alludes towards the changes in Earth's sea level rise, changes in weather patterns, melting glaciers, and warming oceans. Meanwhile global warming is the contributing factor towards climate change, referring towards greenhouse gases on Earth's atmospheric layer adding onto the average surface temperature. In discussing the rising temperature due to the greenhouse gases then global warming is the proper term used. But when discussing the long term differences that occur towards earth in both hydro and meteorological aspect then climate change is more appropriate.

Who and what is responsible for climate change?
When we talk about climate change, we frequently refer to temperature rises caused by industrial activity, namely the greenhouse effect. As a result, we sometimes refer to global warming as being "anthropogenic in origin." Global warming is ultimately caused (at least at its current rate) by the human economy and industry, not by natural forces. Many experts are researching this phenomena and are attempting to figure out how human activities are causing this warming.
When was the greenhouse effect first discovered?
Scientist Jacques Fourier established the first assumptions about the greenhouse effect in 1824, and his work was followed by numerous scientists who attempted to quantify the phenomena, including Claude Pouillet, John Tyndall, and Svante Arrhenius. At the late 19th century, it was Arrhenius who conducted the first experiment that precisely confirmed and measured the greenhouse effect. He observed that carbon dioxide-rich air holds more heat from solar radiation, resulting in a rise in air temperature.

Climate change has multiple effects on numerous aspects of humanity. Drought may have a negative impact on food production and human health. Flooding may cause illness to spread and environmental and infrastructure damage. Human health problems can raise death rates, reduce food availability, and reduce labor productivity. The effects of climate change may be observed in every part of our lives. Climate change consequences, on the other hand, are unequal across the country and the globe; even within a single town, impacts might range between neighborhoods or people. Long-standing socioeconomic imbalances can render underserved populations more susceptible, as they are frequently the most sensitive to risks and have the fewest means to respond.
