A new chapter of leadership officially begins! The newly elected councilors for PANAGPILI: CSSHSO Special Election 2026 have formally taken their oath of office, swearing their dedication and service to the student body.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

The CSSH Commission on Election (COMELEC) invites all constituents to witness the Official Oath-Taking Ceremony of the incoming CSSHSO Officers for the Academic Year 2026-2027, this September 16, 6:00 PM via Google Meet.

This ceremony is more than a mere formality; it is a public affirmation of the "utmost loyalty, responsibility, efficiency, and integrity" mandated by our Constitution. As our new department councilors swear their allegiance to student welfare and rights, your presence as the electorate serves as the ultimate anchor of their accountability.

Let us gather as one Vanguards community to mark this institutional milestone and stand with the leaders who will shape the future of our college.

The votes have been cast, canvassed, and verified! The College of Social Sciences and Humanities Students’ Organization – Commission on Elections (CSSHSO COMELEC) formally proclaims the newly elected councilors for PANAGPILI: CSSHSO Special Election 2026.

After a successful period of voting and careful tabulation of ballots, we are proud to announce the student leaders who will step up to represent their respective departments:

OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS
Psychology Councilors:
- Renz Quiaoit — 40 votes
- Neil Anthony Serrano — 34 votes
Literature Councilor:
- Andy Pamorejos — 35 votes
- Luis Michaael Amolan — 11 votes

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every Vanguard who participated in this election and exercised their right to vote. To our candidates, thank you for your willingness to lead, serve, and uphold the spirit of leadership in our college.

Please read the instructions carefully before casting your ballot:

1. ONLY 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students are allowed to vote. Pursuant to Article IV, Qualifications of Electors “To qualify as an elector in the general elections for CSSHSO Student Council positions, a student must be currently enrolled in CSSH having accomplished at least a semester; provided that the student is not serving a penalty of suspension as of the day of the elections.”
2. Sign in using your Institutional Gmail Account.
3. Review your choices before submitting. Double-check your selected candidates before finalizing your response.
4. Department Voting Guidelines:
- Literature Councilor Position: IMPORTANT, You may only vote for ONE (1) candidate for the Literature Councilor position. Selecting multiple options or submitting duplicate entries for this position will render your vote for this category invalid.
- Psychology Councilor Position: Cast your vote for your preferred candidates (not limited to ONE) representing the Psychology department.

Now that the qualified candidates are set, it is time to learn, get to know, and hear more about the student leaders who are ready to serve their fellow ka-Vanguards. The campaign period officially begins today.

Starting September 13, 2026, all candidates are allowed to present their platforms, programs, and vision. This period serves as an important avenue for candidates to engage with their fellow students and demonstrate their commitment to responsible and principled leadership.

The wait is over, ka-Vanguards! Following the evaluation and deliberation of all filed Certificates of Candidacy (COC), the College of Social Sciences and Humanities Students’ Organization – Commission on Elections (CSSHSO COMELEC) formally declares the qualified candidates who will run for the councilor positions in this year's special election.

Leadership requires courage, integrity, and an unyielding commitment to serve. Meet the aspiring leaders ready to step up, amplify student voices, and strengthen our college representation:

Psychology Councilor Candidates:

For transparency, despite the extension of the filing of candidacy, the commission received no filings for the Filipino and English councilor positions.
