In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to bring faster and more accessible public services to every Filipino, the PSA Region XII Sarangani successfully conducted a National ID mobile registration activity on 27 May 2026 at Purok 16, Anas Subdivision, Barangay Lagao, General Santos City.

The mobile activity aimed to bring government services directly to the community, especially to residents who experience difficulty traveling to registration centers. Through the mobile activity, PSA Region XII Sarangani successfully registered 40 individuals, including 17 children and 3 senior citizens. Aside from registration, the team also issued a total of 71 National IDs in Paper Form. Out of the total issued, 32 were released through real-time issuance, allowing newly registered clients to receive their National ID in Paper Form within just a few minutes after registration. The initiative significantly helped simplify and speed up the process, saving residents from long travel, long waiting hours, and additional transportation expenses.

29 April 2026 – PSA Region XII Sarangani – National ID System (NIDS) Sarangani participated in the Lokal Serbisyo Caravan organized by the Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) at Barangay San Vicente, Glan, Sarangani Province.

The program is designed to bring essential government services closer to the people, particularly in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs), further strengthening the government’s commitment to inclusive and accessible service delivery.

PSA Region XII Sarangani, through its National ID System (NIDS), actively participated in the 124th Labor Day Job Fair 2026 held on May 1, 2026, at the KCC Convention and Events Center, KCC Mall of Gensan, General Santos City. Spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment Region XII as part of the nationwide Labor Day celebration, the event carried the theme “Disenteng Trabaho Para Sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating.” The job fair showcased a wide range of employment opportunities and featured one-stop shop services that provided fast and reliable assistance to the public.

In response to the invitation of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region XII to support jobseekers by providing essential pre-employment services, PSA-Sarangani deployed its team to conduct on-site registration and deliver National ID-related services. These services included National ID registration, issuance of National ID in paper form, retrieval of PhilSys Transaction Reference Numbers (TRNs), assistance in generating Digital National IDs through the eGovPH App, and addressing public inquiries regarding the National ID System. Complementing these efforts, the Civil Registration System (CRS) Mobile Outlet from PSA RSSO XII also provided on-site printing and issuance of PSA civil registry documents and certificates in Security Paper (SECPA), offering a convenient one-stop service hub for the documentation needs of jobseekers.

A key highlight of the event was the visit of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who honored the dedication of Filipino workers and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding employment opportunities and delivering essential public services.

The continued collaboration between PSA and DOLE underscores their shared commitment to empowering the Filipino workforce through accessible and efficient government services.

Led by the city government under Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, the activity brought together various government agencies to deliver essential services directly to the community, reinforcing efforts to make public services more accessible and responsive.

The participation of PSA-NIDS Sarangani underscores its continued commitment to inclusive registration and public service delivery. By bringing National ID services closer to the people through programs like Serbisyong Heneral, the agency advances its advocacy of establishing a trusted and accessible identification system for all Filipinos, supporting easier access to government services, financial inclusion, and participation in the growing digital economy.
