The General Santos City Public Library conducted an ocular visit to Balakayo Elementary School in preparation for its upcoming outreach activity. This visit aims to assess the venue and coordinate the necessary preparations to ensure a meaningful and engaging experience for the learners.

AKLAT PARA SA BATA: BASA, LARO, TUKLAS!

A day filled with learning, laughter, sharing, and meaningful memories! 🥰

On September 30, 2026, the General Santos City Public Library (GSCPL) headed by Ms. Arlene P. Adam, conducted its community outreach program at Datal Salvan Elementary School, Barangay San Jose, General Santos City, bringing joy and learning opportunities to Kinder and Grade 1 pupils.

Through this initiative, the young learners enjoyed a variety of fun and meaningful activities, including book donations, a feeding program, interactive games, and literacy activities that encouraged their love for reading and learning.

The GSCPL extends its heartfelt gratitude to our generous partner agencies — General Santos City Greek Council, Socsargen Funeral Services, and Yanies Chicken House for their invaluable support and commitment to making this outreach program a success.

Our sincerest appreciation also goes to the Barangay San Jose Council, the school principal, Ma’am Florgellette Garcia, the dedicated teachers, and the wonderful pupils of Datal Salvan Elementary School for their warm welcome, cooperation, and participation.
Together, we continue to create opportunities for children to discover the joy of reading, learning, and sharing. Because every child deserves a chance to learn, dream, and grow!
