Another day, another chance to serve 📚❤️
Today, April 13, 2026, the Junior Librarians’ Organization of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University carried out once again a community extension activity at the Tambler Barangay Reading Center. With teamwork and dedication, the group worked on organizing books to create a more accessible and welcoming space for readers.
This simple effort turned into something meaningful, as it helps create a more organized environment that encourages learning and a love for reading. 💫
This initiative was made possible through the support of Brgy. Captain, Hon. Abdulwahid Bualan, along with Bro. Paul Meuten Library (Director of Libraries), Ms. Ellen Esmeres, Ms. Cherry Faith Saturos (JLO Moderator), the Bro. Paul Meuten librarians and staff, and the Library Science students who generously shared their time and effort.
Special thanks are also extended to Brgy. Kagawad Banisil, Committee on Education of Brgy. Tambler, Ms. Leah Cariaga (BRC In-Charge), and the entire Barangay Council and staff for the warm welcome and assistance throughout the activity.
The General Santos City Public Library is grateful in connecting NDDU with Barangay Tambler, building a partnership that helps grow a love for reading in the community.
