When you adopt a pet, you adopt it for life. They are your family. You just can't leave family just because you can't take care of them. You find ways to keep them.
They are not objects, they have feelings.
Be a decent human being and give them a proper life.
Just a reminder to all pet owners who are thinking of abandoning their pets, we have the ANIMAL WELFARE ACT OF 1998 or RA 8485.
According to RA 8485
Torture, NEGLECT & Maltreatment of animals are PUNISHABLE BY LAW.
IMPRISONMENT (1-2 years) and/or fine of 30,000 - 250,000 php.
To our fellow animal welfare advocates, please be vigilant and report anyone who abandon and neglect their pets to the nearest police station or barangay.
