Our Punong Barangay, Hon. Abraham V. Sevilla, together with our Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson, Hon. Gregory P. Pillo, personally assisted in the installation of new lighting at Dadiangas East Elementary School, ensuring that the school gymnasium is properly illuminated for the safety, comfort, and welfare of our students.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to creating a safer and more conducive environment for learning, sports, and community activities. Through teamwork and dedicated public service, we remain steadfast in improving our educational facilities for the benefit of every learner.

Our water filters have arrived!

Once we are done with the orientation, SK GenSan will head to remote and far-flung areas with limited access to clean water.

We thank Waves For Water Philippines for providing 30 water filters, SK Lagao for transporting them from Davao to General Santos City, and SK Barangay Dad. East for providing temporary storage.

📢 DISASTER RESPONSE ADVISORY: BANGON SILANGAN, BANGON GENSAN!

​Mga ka-Barangay, ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa ay nakasalalay sa ating kahandaan. Pagkatapos ng isang malakas na lindol o matinding aftershock, mahalagang manatili tayong kalmado, alerto, at laging handa.
​Narito ang mahahalagang paalala mula sa inyong Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Dadiangas East ukol sa mga dapat gawin at ihanda:

​🛑 WHAT TO DO (Matapos ang Aftershock)
​Suriin ang Paligid: Tignan kung may nasaktan o kung may pinsala sa istruktura ng bahay.
​Patayin ang Utilities: Agad na i-shut off ang gas at linya ng tubig kung may tagas.
​Ligtas na Paglikas: Gamitin ang mga ligtas na labasan patungo sa open area. Huwag gagamit ng elevator.
​Manatiling Alerto sa Balita: Makinig sa mga opisyal na anunsyo at radyo para sa mga updates.
​Magtulungan: Alalayan ang mga kapitbahay, lalo na ang mga bata, matatanda, at may kapansanan.

​🎒 WHAT TO PREPARE (Emergency Go-Bag)
​Siguraduhing may handang Emergency Kit ang bawat pamilya na naglalaman ng:
​Tubig at Pagkain: Sapat na supply ng malinis na tubig at mga non-perishable food (delata).
​First Aid Kit: Mga pangunahing gamot, alcohol, at benda.
​Flashlight at Ekstrang Baterya
​Pito (Whistle): Para sa paghingi ng saklolo kung kinakailangan.
​Portable Radio: Para sa tuluy-tuloy na impormasyon.
​Sanitation Items: Alcohol, wipes, at personal hygiene supplies.
​Ibahagi ang post na ito sa inyong mga kapamilya at kaibigan upang lahat tayo ay maging ligtas at handa. Sama-sama tayong babangon at magtutulungan!

**𝘼 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙆 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙨 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣

After 15 long years, the SK Barangay Dadiangas East GSYF Junior Division has finally made it to the Grand Finals, marking a historic milestone for our barangay.

Our young warriors faced some of the toughest opponents in Bracket Aand finished the elimination round with an impressive 7 wins and 1 loss, defeating Barangays Dadiangas North, San Jose, Siguel, Dadiangas West, Tambler, South, and earning a forfeited win against Sinawal, with their only loss coming against Mabuhay.

Their outstanding performance earned them 1st Place in Bracket A and 2nd Overall among the Small Barangays after securing a crossover victory against Buayan. This achievement is a testament to the determination, discipline, and heart of our young athletes.

We are deeply grateful to God Almighty for giving our team the strength, courage, and guidance throughout this journey.

Our sincerest thanks to our dedicated coaches, Zion Bondoc and Toto Lau, whose leadership and commitment helped shape this successful campaign.

We also extend our gratitude to our Barangay Officials, especially Kagawad Estrella Kagawad Agustin, Kagawad Balliente, to our Ever supportive Cook and sponsor Madam Armi Sevilla, former SK Chairman Justin Villarruel, and our very supportive Punong Barangay, Abraham Sevilla, who always took the time to personally witness our games, cheer for our athletes, share his knowledge and skills, and continuously boost the confidence and morale of our team. Your presence and unwavering support inspired our young athletes to give their very best and believe in themselves.

After overcoming challenges, setbacks, and tough opponents throughout the tournament, our young warriors never stopped believing. Their determination, resilience, and heart fueled an incredible comeback journey that has inspired the entire barangay.

Today, the East stands where it has never stood before competing for the championship and bringing pride and honor to Barangay Dadiangas East.
