In celebration of National Women’s Month, we proudly highlight ENS LAVEN MAE L DOHINA PCG
the OIC for Admin, CGLU-SM, Acting OIC for Operations , and Logistics, CGLU-SM.
As the officer for Admin, Operations, and Logistics of CGLU-SM, she is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative, operational, and logistical functions that support the effective delivery of the unit within Southern Mindanao.
She ensures that personnel of CGLU-SM operates efficiently by managing personnel support, documentation, scheduling of activities, and the proper implementation of internal policies and procedures.
Despite carrying the weight of three designations, she consistently conducts herself with remarkable poise and unwavering positivity. She approaches each responsibility with quiet confidence and grace, never allowing the pressure to overshadow her composure.
Beyond her professionalism, she brings a refreshing sense of lightness to the workplace—her laughter is both genuine and infectious, often lifting the spirits of everyone around her.
In balancing competence with warmth, she not only fulfills her duties admirably but also creates a more vibrant and encouraging office environment, making her the heart of the workplace.💜

This National Women’s Month, we recognize
ASW KRIZZA JOY M BAAL PCG,
a dedicated member of the Operations team of CGLU-SM.

She plays a vital role in ensuring that documents, legal comments, and unit activities are organized and on track, coordinating with different offices to keep operations running smoothly.

It cannot be hidden that she is a Licensed Professional Teacher, as she effectively connects with young hearts during GAD-related lectures and outreach activities, inspiring them through her words and experiences.
On vacant days, she shares her love for softball—her first love—, especially during summer, guiding students who seek her help.
Outside the office, she enjoys planning trips, arranging itineraries, and exploring new food spots. Thoughtful and dependable, she brings the same level of care and coordination both in work and in life.
ASW Baal shows that behind every well-run operation is a woman who keeps everything organized, efficient, and moving forward. 💜

LOOK: LT WINJALYNNE CARESS D. AMORES PCG, OIC of CGLU-SM, together with LT HANNAH S. ALIPIO PCG, Legal Officer of CGLU-SM, joined the Free Legal Aid Service of the IBP SOCGEN Chapter held at Mangoag Church, Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City on 28 February 2026.

During the activity, they rendered free legal consultation and assistance to community members seeking guidance on various legal concerns. Residents were given the opportunity to ask questions, better understand their rights, and receive practical legal advice on matters affecting their daily lives.

The initiative aimed to make legal services more accessible to the public, particularly to individuals who may have limited access to legal representation. Through the collective efforts of the participating legal professionals, the activity promoted legal awareness, strengthened community engagement, and supported the delivery of meaningful public service to the people.

LT WINJALYNNE CARESS D AMORES PCG, the Officer-in-Charge of CGLU-SM since May 2023.

As OIC, she leads CGLU-SM with strength, integrity, and decisive leadership. She provides legal assistance, drafts legal comments, and extends guidance to all CGDSM PCG personnel and their dependents—always ensuring that justice and due process are upheld.
Known for her dedication, she willingly shares her legal expertise even during the wee hours when duty calls.

Firm and resolute in her decisions, she steers CGLU-SM toward professionalism, accountability, and excellence.
Under her leadership, the unit continues to stand as a pillar of legal support within the District.

Yet beyond the uniform and authority is a compassionate heart. She would stop a car to let stray dogs and cats safely cross the street. Her inner “happy child” comes alive at the sight of Pokémon and anything related to Harry Potter—reminding everyone that strong leaders can also be joyful and kind at heart.

Her guidance ensures that justice, fairness, and due process remain at the forefront of service.

Beyond her legal expertise, she brings sweetness to the office — literally! Known for her homemade brownies and cookies, she keeps morale high while keeping standards even higher.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: CGLU-SM proudly served as a Speaker during the Symposium on Anti-Sexual Harassment (RA 7877) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) to the students of Silway-8 National High School last February 19, 2026.

Through open discussion and legal guidance, we reinforced the importance of respect, consent, and creating safe spaces for everyone. Because informed students become responsible individuals and a safe school begins with each one of us.

Day 1

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: With Hearts comitted to service and justice, Coast Guard Legal Unit - Southern Mindanao successfully conducted a Free Legal Advice under the PCG ICARE Program at Silway-8 National High School, Brgy. Silway 8 Polomolok, South Cotabato, last February 18, 2026.

More than Legal Assistance, it was a mission of compassion. Listening to concerns, giving sound guidance, and empowering the community through knowledge of their rights.
