To thrive excellence in leadership, the Youth Affairs and Development Office, Gensan, successfully conducted the Gensan Young Leader’s Summit of Gensan Summer Youth Festival 2026, at Mt. Sabrina Panoramic View and Resort, General Santos City, May 29-31, 2026.

Every plenary session unfolds message, knowing to position, serving with pure intention, and lead with agency.

Moreover, the summit echoed a profound message: leadership is not measured by titles or positions, but by character and empathy.

Electrifying performances unleashed the stage as bands went head-to-head combat in the Gensan Summer Youth Festival 2026 Battle of the Bands at Veranza Mall, General Santos City, on May 29, 2026.

The venue pulsed with energy as each group captivated the audiences with their powerful vocals and instrumentals.

Leadership and discipline on stimuli as participants demonstrate their readiness and resourcefulness in commitment to the values of scouting at Community-Based Scouting Training Camp, Mt. Sabrina Beach Resort, Glan, held from June 2 to 4, 2026.

The training involves plenary sessions with interactive courses, aiming to strengthen skills, and builds character with responsibility.

This June, we celebrate the courage of those who choose to stay true to themselves despite the challenges they face.

This month is for the people continuously fighting for equality. For the breadwinners who work tirelessly while seeking acceptance from their families. For those who remain unseen—not out of shame, but for their own safety and self-preservation. And for every member of the LGBTQIA+ community whose journey is marked by resilience, authenticity, and hope.

Let us celebrate love without fear, equality without conditions, and the freedom to live with dignity and pride.

Ang pagiging bakla ay hindi lamang pagkakakilanlan—para sa marami, isa rin itong pakikibaka. Sa kabila ng diskriminasyon, hindi pagkakaunawaan, at mga hamong kinakaharap araw-araw, patuloy tayong lumalaban, nagmamahal, at namumuhay nang totoo sa ating sarili. Ang ating pag-iral ay hindi dapat pagdebatehan; ito ay dapat kilalanin, igalang, at ipagdiwang.

Ngayong Pride Month, ipinapaalala natin na ang pagmamahal ay karapatan, hindi pribilehiyo. Ang pagkakapantay-pantay ay hindi dapat may kondisyon. At ang bawat isa ay may karapatang mabuhay nang malaya, may dignidad, at may pagmamalaki sa kung sino sila.

Too often, men face silent struggles—battling stress, anxiety, or depression quietly because society tells them to “tough it out” or “man up” and are expected to figure out their problems on their own. But in reality, strength lies in opening up, asking for help, and knowing it’s okay not to be okay. 🫂

This month, let’s break the stigma together. Reach out to the men in your life — fathers, brothers, friends, partners, colleagues and remind them they’re not alone. Encourage open conversations, provide accessible resources, and show support to promote their well-being! 🧠🎉

To plant valuable insights and practical experience, the Gensan Summer Youth Festival 2026 seeds Agri-skills Traing for youth, at Sinawal Botanical Sanctuary on June 2, 2026.

The training includes discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, designed to promote awareness and understanding about agricultural practices.

On May 28, 2026, the Youth Affairs and Development Office, Gensan, holds ARTEsano: Kultura, Sining at Kabataan, featuring young artists’ craftsmanship inspired from Gensan’s culture, at Veranza Mall of Gensan.

To showcase entrepreneurship and innovation, the Youth Affairs and Development Office, Gensan, with the participating businesses, successfully opened a four-day marketplace at Veranza Mall of Gensan, serving a variety of goods and products, on Tienda Heneral of the Gensan Summer Youth Festival 2026, May 25-28, 2026.
