Naging katuwang din sa aktibidad ang iba't ibang tanggapan ng LGU at mga partner-stakeholders. Bilang suporta, nagbahagi naman ng bottled water ang opisina ni City Councilor Jose Jacinto “Doc Joey” Dinopol para sa medical team, mga katuwang na sektor, at mga residenteng dumalo sa programa.

𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋 | Earlier today, as Chairperson of the Committee on Health and Sanitation, I presided over a productive hearing where we officially approved SPPO No. 2126-0021-"𝐀𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐓𝐈, 𝐇𝐈𝐕, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐟.", a comprehensive ordinance strengthening our local policies and programs for STIs, HIV, and AIDS control and prevention.

To align with R.A. 11166, our discussions focused on crucial amendments including renaming the "Red Ribbon Council" to the “Local AIDS Council”, adopting the 95-95-95 HIV targets, standardized workflow for Pink Card issuance, the establishment of clear guidelines and responsibilities for implementing personnel, securing sustainable funding through the Special Health Fund, and strengthening strict data confidentiality. By passing this measure at the committee level with a strong emphasis on non-discrimination and culturally sensitive education, we are one major step closer to ensuring an inclusive, sustainable, and stigma-free public health system.

Aligning local action with national health standards, the Local AIDS Council convened for its second quarter meeting. As the author of this legislative measure, I am ensuring that our review of the General Santos City Comprehensive STI, HIV, and AIDS Prevention and Control Program Ordinance will strengthen local health interventions and protect the community.

I authored four (4) resolutions approved during the 37th Regular Session of the 21st Sangguniang Panlungsod:

1. Resolution supporting the House Bill No. 207 of the 20th Congress of the Philippines, Entitled: Lowering the Optional Retirement Age of Government Workers from Sixty (60) Years to Fifty-Six (56) Years, Amending for the purpose Section 13-A of Republic Act No. 8291, Otherwise known as the Government Service Insurance System Act Of 1997 introduced by Honorable Representative Antonio L. Tinio and Renee Louise М. Со.

2. Resolution supporting the House Bill No. 5068 of the 20th Congress of the Philippines, otherwise known as the Universal Social Pension for Senior Citizens Act introduced by Representative Carmelo Lazatin Jr.

3. Resolution supporting the Senate Bill No. 20, otherwise known as the Nursing Home for Senior 2 Citizens introduced by Senator Robinhood Padilla.

4. Resolution supporting the Continued Implementation of Republic Act No. 11509, otherwise known as the Doktor para sa Bayan Act for Medical Scholars in all State Universities and Colleges.

Bilang suporta ay nagbigay ng bottled water ang opisina ni 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 “𝐃𝐨𝐜 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐲” 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥 para sa hydration at kaligtasan ng ating medical team, mga partner-stakeholders, at mga residenteng dumalo sa programa.

As Chair of the Committee on Health and Sanitation, we conducted a committee hearing on the proposed ordinance to establish a Comprehensive Voluntary Local Blood Donation Program in General Santos City.

This ordinance aims to ensure a steady, safe, and accessible blood supply for our city.
