𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦.𝗟 𝗭𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗥

This evening, we honor each moment we spent with S.L. Zemathar; his commitment and tireless efforts to the Scouting community represent a significant loss to the movement he devoted himself to for so many years.

As we honor his memory as a cornerstone of every successful Scouting event in the city, he will always be remembered and cherished.

We dedicated the ceremony to him one final time, as a gesture of gratitude for the moments, time, effort, skills, knowledge, and sacrifices he contributed. Additionally, we wanted to convey to his loved ones the significant impact S.L. Zemathar had on the movement.

Rest well in peace into your new eternal camping ground, S.L Zemathar.

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬

Hosted by the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Sarangani Bay Assembly ACN 1770, with support from the members and youth of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - General Santos City Council, the Worn-out Flag Proper Disposal Ceremony took place on May 23, 2026, at the Knights of Columbus Mother Council located on Arriola Street, Lagao, General Santos City.

The ceremony is in accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, referred to as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, which was enacted in 1998. This legislation regulates the appropriate display of Philippines flags and disposal of its tattered flags, a responsibility entrusted solely to the dedicated men and women in uniform, including the Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The official delegates from the General Santos City Council are participating in the annual assemblies held by the members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟲𝟵𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The three principal officials are currently in Cebu for the purpose of attending and participating in this event.
