The upcoming GAWAD PolSci on April 21 marks a significant and much-awaited culmination event for the Political Science students of Notre Dame, bringing together moments of recognition, reflection, and celebration of the academic journey they have shared throughout the years. It is a time to honor the perseverance, discipline, and dedication that have shaped each student’s growth in understanding governance, law, public service, and the complexities of society, as well as to acknowledge the guidance and support of mentors who have played a vital role in their development.

As the event draws near, anticipation builds for a gathering that not only celebrates achievements but also highlights the unity and identity of the Political Science community. GAWAD PolSci serves as a reminder that every effort, challenge, and breakthrough along the journey has contributed to something greater than individual success, forming future leaders who are prepared to engage in meaningful service and nation-building.

The 4th Year Political Science students of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University embarked on an enriching Educational Tour from March 8–16, 2026, visiting some of the country’s most significant institutions and historical landmarks — the Supreme Court, Senate, House of Representatives, Malacañang Museums, Intramuros, and the National Museums.

More than just a journey across places, the tour served as a powerful extension of classroom learning. Students witnessed firsthand the inner workings of government, immersed themselves in the nation’s rich history, and deepened their understanding of law, politics, leadership, and public service.

Indeed, at NDDU, learning goes beyond the four corners of the classroom — shaping future leaders through real-world experiences.
