LOOK | DOLE XII–GSCFO TURNS OVER WELDING LIVELIHOOD KITS TO 403 BENEFICIARIES IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY
October 2, 2025 - The Department of Labor and Employment XII – General Santos City Field Office (DOLE XII–GSCFO) turned over welding livelihood kits to 403 beneficiaries at Dadiangas South Central Elementary School, General Santos City.
Present during the turnover were OIC-ARD Mary Jane C. Hoksuan, TSSD Head–Chief LEO Sheila Marie D. Dumalay, OIC-GSCFO Head–Senior LEO Christine Bernabe and ACP–Mahintana Foundation Executive Director Liza Duropan-Lopez, who each shared inspiring messages to the beneficiaries.
During her message, OIC-ARD Mary Jane C. Hoksuan highlighted, “Ang success po ninyo ay success din po namin... hangad namin na makatulong sa inyo at sa inyong pamilya, at kayo rin ay makatulong sa komunidad.”
Moreover, Chief LEO Sheila Marie D. Dumalay thanked the beneficiaries for their patience, while ACP–Mahintana Foundation Executive Director Liza Duropan-Lopez encouraged them to organize into associations, assuring support through training and other assistance.
The turnover activity concluded successfully, marking another milestone in DOLE’s commitment to providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to the community.
