Today, we honor the life and legacy of Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a true Filipino hero whose courage and unwavering dedication to democracy paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today. Ninoyโ€™s sacrifice reminds us of the enduring importance of patriotism, resilience, and standing up for justice. Let us continue to honor his legacy by actively contributing to the progress and unity of our nation.

At the same time, we remember the tragic Miranda Plaza bombing on August 21, 1971 a dark chapter in our history that claimed innocent lives and left lasting scars on our nation's memory. This somber event serves as a powerful reminder of the need for peace, security, and justice for all Filipinos. Let us stand united in condemning violence and work together toward building a safer and more compassionate society. May the souls of those we lost rest in eternal peace.
