TINGNAN: Nag-abot ng tsekeng nagkakahalaga ng P25,865,494.75 ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ngayong araw, Enero 23, 2026 bilang mandatory contribution sa sektor ng edukasyon.
Pinangunahan ni PCSO General Manager Mel Robles ang turnover ceremony at pormal na tinanggap nina CHED Project Development Officer Lorenzo Manuel Amado at Chief Accountant Myra Paz Manalo sa PCSO Main Office, Mandaluyong City.
Ang pondong ito ay nagmula sa 1% ng gross sales mula sa operasyon ng lotto, alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 7722 para sa Higher Education Development Program.

In celebration of the National Day of Charity, the PCSO South Cotabato Branch personnel conducted their final activity for the day โ the distribution of snacks (mamon and ensaymada) to 90 tricycle drivers and street vendors outside the Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital in General Santos City.
This simple yet meaningful gesture aimed to show appreciation and spread joy to our 90 hardworking drivers and vendors who dedicate their days to serving the community. Through this act of kindness, the branch joins the nation in fostering compassion, generosity, and solidarity, embodying the true essence of the National Day of Charity.
This initiative reflects our commitment to the spirit of โBagong Pilipinasโโpromoting empathy, unity, and social responsibility. Indeed, every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference in someoneโs day. โค๏ธ
