The Sangguniang Kabataan Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for Academic Year 2026–2027!

This scholarship is open to qualified students enrolled in private schools. Successful applicants will receive ₱10,000.00 per academic year, which will be paid directly to their respective schools to help cover tuition fee expenses.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | SK Scholarship Grantees Officially Hand In Tuition Payments to Their Respective Schools

Scholarship beneficiaries of SK Labangal have formally turned over their tuition payments to their respective schools after receiving financial assistance from the Sangguniang Kabataan, marking another milestone in the council’s commitment to supporting youth education.

The initiative was facilitated through the efforts of Hon. Kimberly Cabardo, Committee Chairperson on Education, SK Chairperson Elijah Joanne Polistico-Pacquiao, and SK Treasurer Marwa Abdulpatta Guinucud, who ensured that the process was organized, transparent, and properly monitored. As part of the procedure, scholars submitted official receipts and documentation to confirm that the funds granted under the SK Labangal Scholarship Program were used exclusively for educational purposes.

The SK Labangal Scholarship Program aims to reduce the financial burden of education on students and their families while promoting accountability and responsible use of public youth funds. By providing tuition support, the program seeks to encourage continued academic achievement and help students focus on their studies without financial distraction.

This effort reflects SK Labangal’s broader mission of empowering young people through education and community development programs. The council has reiterated its commitment to expanding opportunities for the youth, including additional scholarships, skills development initiatives, and other projects designed to enhance learning and personal growth.

The SK Labangal Scholarship Program continues to be a flagship initiative in the municipality, demonstrating the council’s dedication to accessible and quality education and its role in nurturing future leaders of the community.

As part of their rendered service hours, SK Scholars took part in maintaining the upkeep of the SK Office. The initiative aimed to instill responsibility, enhance teamwork, and strengthen the scholars’ commitment to community service. Their participation highlights the youth sector’s active role in supporting local governance.

The activity allowed scholars to experience hands-on community service, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their workplace. Their efforts ensured that the SK Office remained organized, efficient, and welcoming to the public.

Through this initiative, SK Scholars demonstrated how young leaders can actively contribute to community programs, proving that leadership is shown through action and service.
