The PLEB is an independent body created under Republic Act No. 6975 and serves as the disciplinary authority over erring members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) at the local level. It receives, hears, and decides administrative complaints filed by citizens against PNP personnel, ensuring that the public has direct access to justice and redress.

Ayon sa Memorandum Circular No. 67, s. 2024 ng Office of the President, SUSPENDIDO ang PASOK sa mga tanggapan ng GOBYERNO at KLASE sa LAHAT NG ANTAS simula 12:00 ng tanghali BUKAS, 31 OCTOBER 2024 bilang paggunita sa Undas.

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟔𝟕, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

In order to provide government employees full opportunity to properly observe traditional AIl Saints' Day and All Souls' Day activities, allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country, and promote domestic tourism, work in government offices and classes at all levels shall be suspended on 31 October 2024 starting 12:00 p.m.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
