With the generous support of Pangyan Central Elementary School and the passion of our youth volunteers in Barangay Pangyan, we are taking the first steps towards empowering the minds of the children in our barangay. This project is all about giving hope and a brighter future through the power of reading.

📚✨ ALI BASA: A Youth Initiative by SK Pangyan ✨📚

We are proud to share that our Ali Basa initiative is moving forward with great purpose to empower our youth by teaching them how to read and strengthening their love for learning. 💙

Yesterday, we conducted an online interview to carefully select the 10 dedicated youth volunteers who will take on the inspiring role of teaching their fellow youth how to read. It was truly heartwarming to see so many passionate individuals step up and show their willingness to make a difference in our community.

This is just the beginning. Together, we aim to build a future where every young person has the ability and confidence to read and learn. 📖🌟

𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐊 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐘𝐂 𝐖𝐞𝐛 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐥

Status of submissions from all Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) units in Sarangani Province. 137 out of 142 barangays have successfully submitted and complied with their Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and General Administrative Program (GAP), achieving an impressive 96.5% compliance rate across the province.

This milestone reflects the strong commitment, discipline, and leadership of our SK officials in championing the welfare of the youth. It is a clear testament that when guided with purpose and unity, our Kabataan can deliver meaningful results.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Municipal Mayors for their leadership, to our Municipal Youth Development Officers (MYDOs) and MLGOOs for their consistent guidance, and most especially to our SK officials for their dedication to service. This achievement is truly a shared success of collaborative governance.

Together, we continue to move forward, stronger, more united, and more committed for every young Sarangan.

📊 Ayon sa mga datos, ang Sarangani ay kabilang sa may pinakamababang antas ng reading proficiency kaya ngayon, sama-sama tayong kikilos para baguhin ito!

In a time where many young learners, especially incoming Grade 7 students, still struggle with reading, we choose to ACT. This is not just a statistic this is a call for us to rise.

💡 ALI BASA aims to help these students build confidence, improve comprehension, and unlock opportunities through literacy. And now… we are looking for 10 passionate youth volunteers who are ready to make a difference!

🎯 What’s in it for you?

✔️ Half day session only

📌 QUALIFICATIONS:
• 15–30 years old
• Resident and registered voter of Barangay Pangyan
• 1st–3rd year college student (Education students are preferred but NOT required)
• Parents’ income is below minimum
• Willing to undergo an interview

📌 REQUIREMENTS (Bring during the interview):
• Barangay Certification (to certify residency in Barangay Pangyan)
• School ID (or if not available, Student Copy / Class Schedule as proof of college enrollment)
• Certificate of Indigency (to certify low-income family status)

Looking for a Botanist / Plant Expert (Urgent)🌿

Good day everyone!

We are reaching out to seek help for one of the youth in our Barangay who is currently conducting a study related to plants and animals, with a special interest in orchid species. 🌸

We are looking for someone who is:
✅ A botanist or knowledgeable in plant science
✅ Experienced with plants, flowers, or orchids (preferred but not required)
✅ Willing to assist or accompany him during his study/conduct
