Niadtong Hunyo 5, 2026, nagpadayon ang road rehabilitation activity sa Purok Cambuling, Calabanit, Glan, Sarangani Province isip kabahin sa padayong paningkamot sa Barangay Council sa pagpaayo sa mga dalan sa atong barangay.
Dili gayod buy-an sa atong Punong Barangay, Hon. Ian Jay C Cain ang mga equipo hangtod dili siya masatisfy nga ang mga dalan sa matag purok nga kaniadto lisod ug peligroso agi-an sa mga residente mahimong mas maayo, mas luwas, ug mas sayon nga maagian sa tanan. Karon, usa na usab ka dalan paingon sa laing purok ang gipaayo aron mapadali ang pagbiyahe, pagdala sa mga produkto, ug paghatod sa mga serbisyo ngadto sa atong mga komunidad.
Nagpasalamat ang Barangay Council sa LGU-Glan sa walay hunong nga suporta ug sa pagpahulam sa mga heavy equipment nga gigamit sa maong kalihokan. Dako usab ang among pasalamat sa driver sa equipo tungod sa iyang dedikasyon ug pagtabang aron malampuson nga mahuman ang maong road rehabilitation activity.

📍 Road Inspection for the Proposed Concreting Project
Gahapong aldawa sa Hunyo 4, 2026, ang Barangay Council sa Calabanit nga gipangulohan ni Punong Barangay Hon. Ian Jay C Cain nag-conduct og road inspection ug actual measurement sa mga proposed road concreting sites sa Purok Lasar ug Purok Ali.
Ang maong kalihokan gihimo aron masusi ang kahimtang sa dalan ug makuha ang tukmang sukod nga gikinahanglan alang sa umaabot nga road concreting project. Pinaagi niini, masiguro nga hapsay ug organisado ang pagplano sa proyekto alang sa kaayohan sa mga lumulupyo.
Padayon ang Barangay Council sa pagpaningkamot nga madala ang mga proyekto sa imprastraktura ngadto sa matag purok aron mapalambo ang transportasyon ug mapadali ang pagbiyahe sa atong mga katawhan.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: MOBILE ENROLLMENT FOR DRIVING SCHOOL
Ang Barangay Council sa Calabanit, Glan, Sarangani Province nagapahibalo sa tanan nga naay Mobile Enrollment para sa Driving School karong June 13, 2026 sa Barangay Covered Court of Calabanit.
Kini nga kalihokan usa ka inisyatibo sa atong Kapitan nga si Hon. Ian Jay C Cain aron mas mapadali ug maduol sa atong mga residente ang pagkuha sa mga kinahanglanon para sa driver's license, ilabina sa mga motorista nga wala pa'y lisensya. Pinaagi niini, dili na kinahanglan nga mogasto pa og plite ug mobiyahe layo paingon sa LTO aron makapa-enroll sa driving school.

• Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate / Birth Certificate
💰 Enrollment Fee:
• ₱2,000 – Student Permit (SP)
• ₱5,000 – Non-Professional

Another Road Rehabilitation activity was conducted yesterday, June 3, 2026, at the second block of Purok Lovesville, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Ian Jay C. Cain together with Hon. Violeta B. Mercado and Hon. Neri A. Eleuterio.
Ang Barangay Council nagpasalamat sa tanang lumulupyo sa Purok Lovesville sa ilang suporta, ilabi na kang Purok Chairman Mr. Ernesto Villarreal. Dako usab ang among pasalamat sa Municipal Mayor sa pagpahulam sa heavy equipment ug sa cooperation sa Glan Water District (GWD) nga nakatabang sa kalampusan sa maong proyekto.

🚜 BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING OPERATION | June 1, 2026
The Barangay Road Clearing Operation was successfully conducted on June 1, 2026, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Ian Jay C. Cain, together with Hon. Neri A. Eleuterio, Hon. Violeta B. Mercado, Hon. John Carlo N. Tubog, the Committee on Peace and Order, and SK Chairperson Hon. Ian Jake O. Solis.
This activity aimed to keep our roads safe, clear, and accessible by removing obstructions along public roadways.
The Barangay Council extends its heartfelt thanks to all Barangay Tanods who participated in the operation, led by Chief Tanod Mr. Cayetano Abboc, Jr., for their support and dedication to public service.

💃🕺 FIRST-EVER MONTHLY ZUMBA ACTIVITY
Barangay Calabanit successfully held its first-ever Monthly Zumba Activity, a program proposed by Hon. Neri A. Eleuterio and led by Punong Barangay Hon. Ian Jay C. Cain, together with Hon. Jason Barcelona, Hon. Neri A. Eleuterio, and Hon. Violeta B. Mercado. Despite the unfavorable weather, the activity pushed through successfully.
The Barangay Council thanks everyone who joined and supported the activity.
This program promotes health, fitness, and unity within the community and will be conducted every last Friday of the month.
