TINGNAN: Isang bagong unit ng ambulansya ipinagkaloob sa munisipyo ng Glan.

Buong galak na tinanggap nina Mayor Victor James B. Yap Sr. at Bise Mayor Victor James P. Yap Jr, kasama ang mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan ang isang bagong unit ng ambulansya kasabay ng ginanap na flag raising ceremony nitong Oktubre 28, 2024.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng pamahalaang lungsod, Local Government Unit of Glan at ng RHU-Glan sa tanggapan ni Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go sa panibagong ambulansya na ipinagkaloob sa naturang munisipyo.

Ang karagdagang ambulansya ay isang malaking tulong upang mapabilis ang serbisyong- medikal lalo na sa malalayong barangay ng lungsod.

BREAKING NEWS/WEATHER UPDATE: As of 7:30 PM, October 26, 2024, opisyal nang pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang Tropical Storm na may international name na KONG-REY at pinangalanan na itong Bagyong ng PAGASA! Inaasahan itong dadaan sa katubigan silangan ng Northern Luzon sa mga susunod na araw at ang outer rainbands nito ay magpapaulan sa nasabing lugar. Inaasahan din itong lalakas pa lalo at maging isang TYPHOON sa mga susunod na araw, na may peak intensity na aabot sa 155 km/h!

OFWs are the country’s modern-day heroes, hence today October 03, 2024 the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in partnership with the LGU-Glan commemorates OFW Family Day at Purok Sunrise, Taluya Glan.

On behalf of our Municipal Mayor Victor James B. Yap Sr., the said family day was graced by Municipal Vice Mayor Victor James P. Yap Jr. along with the Sangguniang Bayan member, and the participation of the Taluya barangay council spearheaded by Barangay Captain Solidad Pequit.

This activity is a collaborative effort of OWWA, PESO and other stakeholders to give recognition for the invaluable contributions and sacrifices of our modern-day heroes. May we continue to uphold the Filipino spirit of Bayanihan and celebrate the heroism of our beloved OFW’s!
